After eating at a restaurant across the street, my friends and I wandered over to the brightly lit store and were presently surprised with what we found. Hoi Poloi is such a trendy art boutique that sells unique gifts, whimsical trinkets, and upscale art/decor. I immediately found gifts for two people on my Christmas list, and my friends bought things as well. The owner was really friendly, and we talked a while as he showed us around his attached gallery. I would definitely recommend this art boutique to anyone looking for a unique find. When I come back, though, I will eat at the restaurant upstairs which is the oldest in Chinatown and apparently served Al Capone back in the day.
Pros: Great atmosphere, unique buys
Cons: none!
