Stopped in while picking up my son from college. Good middle eastern food. Food was great service was great- will come again! more

I visited this place with my husband, having heard positive things about the resturant from co workers. The hostess seated the couple ahead of my husband and I then refused to seat us- stating it was ""too late"", then stating that the ""air conditioner was broken."" They seated another family while we were standing there! The manager came out and suggested we vsit another resturant ""up the street."" I have NEVER been so humiliated in my entire life. This is 2008 and we are supposed to be moving forward- not back to the Jim Crowe era. Then owner was even worse- stating ""I'm not even from this country- how can I discriminate?"" Refusing to seat customers from one ethnic group while seating tose from another is discriminatory! Cons: Refused to seat an ethnic minority couple while at the same time seated others more

This is one of those ""strip mall"" surprises: who would have expected to find such a great little restaurant two doors down from the dry cleaners? The ambience is pretty bland, but who cares -- the food is wonderful. I've been here twice -- incredibly succulent lamb kabobs one time, delicious eggplant dish on another visit. Appetizers are also quite fine. Service was very attentive, especially for one visit when we were trying to finish up to get to a concert. Quiet, unassuming, and very satisfying.
