Wonderful customer service and I absolutely love my hair! Marque is a miracle worker. I have long, slightly curly hair and am very cautious about getting anything done to my hair....

i have gone to heather for 5 years. she is amazing at color. she makes me the perfect blond every single time. i used to have dark brown hair, and she gradually took me lighter. without killing my hair. my hair rocks! go see her you will not regret it! Pros: consistant color for 5 years more

Shelby has been cutting and coloring my hair for many years. She has always given my exactly what my hair needs.. Intimate and Fun! 3/8/2009

I have been a client of Marque' Peavyhouse's for three years. I have followed her to every salon she has worked at not only because she makes my hair look wonderful EVERY TIME, but because she has also gotten to be my friend over the years. I don't know why I am sharing my thoughts on how great she is....it's already hard enough to get an appointment with her! Honestly, she gets hair, and GLOW is a great, fun little place to have your hair done. Great atmosphere! Pros: Good location, Wonderful Staff, Flexible Hours Cons: Little bit small more

Heather is a master of color! 2/27/2009

I had been dying my hair black for years. Heather was always encouraging me to go to a different color but I was scared of damaging my hair by lifting out the black. Heather told me to trust her that she would never do anything to damage my hair. Well I jumped in with both feet. We lifted the black and made me a redhead. I have never been so in love with my hair!!! I get so many compliments on how amazing it looks. My hair is just as soft and shiny as before. She gave me an awesome new cut to go with my bangin' red hair. I am so lucky to have found Heather. Pros: easy parking, wine, super nice staff more

Fun, Trendy Salon!! 2/26/2009

I have been a client of Roshan's for about a year and absolutely love the way she cuts my hair. Her style is trendy and funky and best of all I get compliments on my hair everywhere I go. She truly is the best hair stylist I've ever had and I would highly recommend her to anyone. The atmosphere is upbeat and fun and everyone is always so friendly. Definitely the place to go if you're wanting a fresh, new look! more

If you are looking for ""trendy whats in now"" salon then Glow is the place for you. Most salons in this area are very quiet and seem dead when you go in. But when you walk into Glow not only is the staff lively but the colors on the chairs,and the music playing throughout are as well. They even have wine and up to date magazines. I went and saw heather a few weeks ago and my hair has never looked better. I have seen her since 2005. She once again gave me a fantastic cut and color. On top of that she gave me a few wonderful splashes of pink with extensions. It was so awesome. I still can't believe how affordable she is. No one has ever been able to get my hair exactly how I wanted it until heather. she is the best and I am always getting compliments.\r \r Pros: professional, fun, relaxing(ask for the steamer while you get your color done!) Cons: wish they did waxing more

Great new salon in the Pearl! I have been using Roshann for 5+ years due to her friendly demeanor and styling skills. When she opened up Glow I knew it would be awesome, and was not disappointed. I would give her an endorsement without any hesitation. more

Hip...Friendly...and stylists that know what's up! 2/19/2009

This spot has it going on! I look forward to ""grow out"" so I can be pampered by the best, Roshan! The staff is excellent and the location, awesome. It's so convenient to hop on the streetcar which drops you off in front of the door. Neat boutiques surrounding it make for a little added bonus :) Sipping on a glass of wine while being made to look a rock star is a great combo. This is my salon all day long!!! more

I've been a client of Roshan's for over 7 years and have followed her to every salon she's worked at. Why? Because she is, without a doubt, the BEST hair stylist in Portland. I've gotten compliments each and every time she has cut and colored my hair. She is very fun, outgoing, easy to talk with and gives the BEST scalp messages!!! I feel pampered at each appointment! Due to her incredible talent many of my friends, relatives and co-workers have become clients of Roshan's. more

Ive been with Kristina since 2002 and she is awesome! not only is she fun and easy to talk to but my hair always comes out funky and fun. I referred my mom to her and she loved her too! I would highly recommend her! Pros: great parking availability, small comfortable place, wine!!!!!!!! Cons: kinda small and hard to move around too much more

Great color and cut 2/5/2009

If anyone is looking for a new hair stylist, Marque at Glow Salon is the best. I have dark hair and no one can get my hair color and highlights to look right. All other stylists I've gone to made my hair look orange and brassy. Marque got the overall color and subtle highlights just right and also gave me a trim, just what I was asking for. Her prices are absolutely reasonable compared to other salons. Also, the salon has a welcoming, energetic atmosphere and not too pretentious. I highly recommend this salon! more
