i had been wanting to visit giada for a couple weeks when me and two girlfriends decided to check it out for prom dresses. we couldn't find it for the life of us. when we finally reached it, we were AMAZED at the selection of dresses. they were gorgeous. they were unlike anything we had found yet in any other store, department and boutique. the owner was extremely helpful in dress selection and very attentive to anything we would have needed. i love my dress so much and everyone i know loves it too. definately worth the trouble finding the place... First of all:Don't listen the the reviews below about this place being bad and rude people and liars because that is all UNTRUE! Giada Rocco has amazing dresses that are beautiful and nothing like anybody elses. you want something that will stand out against all other dresses come here. i've bought the past two years dresses from here for prom and everyone at my school loved my dresses. people still talk about how gorgeous mine was last year and where i got it. Her dresses have an lasting empression on people because they are so unique and gorgeous. i have been very pleased with her dresses(: they fit like a glove! so if you're wanting a dress Giada Rocco is the place to go. Michelle is incrediblely nice and soooo helpful. She helps me pick the perfect dress. Thank you so muchhhh michelle!!!! My experiences with Giada Rocco Boutique have been absolutely amazing! The past two years I have bought my prom dress at Giada and I couldnt be happier. Michelle has a great selection of dresses to choose from. Also, I have never before received such amazing personalized service. Michelle must have spent an hour helping me pick out the perfect dress. The dresses are made with GREAT fabric and they are all so unique! The head designer works with what you want, and makes sure that you get exactly what it is you are looking for! Her attention to detail is spectacular! I will definitely be coming back to this place to get ALL of my special occassion dresses! I cannot say enough about our experience at Giada Rocco. The owner and also designer, Michelle, personally helped my daughter until she found just the right dress that made her feel like she was ready to walk the red carpet. She was so patient and helpful as my daughter tried on literally dozens of dresses, of which she loved them all! The only decision was deciding on which one would be her favorite. Michelle knew which styles and colors were best suited for my daughters coloring and body type. She made her feel special and her enthusiasm in helping her find the perfect dress never faded!! In the end we decided on this beautiful and elegant gold and white dress, of which the fabric was so delicate and lovely. Both my daughter and I felt this is a shop we will return to AGAIN and AGAIN! LOVED LOVED BOTH THE SHOP AND THE OWNER!!! Pros: Amazing and Unique Selection, Amazing Customer Service!!! Cons: Only con, is I wished I had known about her shop sooner!! No cons! more

Thanks so much to Giada Rocco and especially to the owner Michelle. She made my wedding dress some months ago and it was so beautiful! I thought I was being unreasonable because I needed it so quickly, but Michelle made me feel at ease with the time we had. The sales staff was very sweet and helpful as always. Very down-to-earth and knowledgeable. I have shopped there off an on for years for separates and dresses, but it was the wedding dress experience that really wowed me. Thanks girls! I'm not the type of person that generally rants on the internet - in fact, I've never felt the need to make such a commentary, until now. I have no idea why this place is still in business. The sales girls are not only unhelpful, they are incredibly RUDE and downright liars. They didn't help me find what I needed, and when I did pick out two dresses that were somewhat acceptable, they assured me that I could always return the items if I changed my mind. THAT IS A LIE - this store WILL NOT let you return anything. (It was an unworn item with the tags still on, mind you, that I tried to return a few days later.) Additionally, the tags on the dresses claim that the store will do alterations for FREE, which is another LIE. The sales girls will later tell you that they don't do alterations, but you can take it to a tailor and get 10% off their services. The one dress that I did want to keep cost $1500. For $1500, I expect a little more than a slight discount from some second-rate tailor down the block. I also expect helpful staff, not some snotty little shopgirl giving me attitude for no apparent reason. I will never do business here again. Cons: Nasty sales staff, slim selection more

Fabulous! The cocktail dresses and tops are amazing. They have their own in-house designs in addition to other labels too so that you will definitely not be seen with the same outfit as someone else. Michelle Koen is a great designer and so friendly and accessible. I also bought my wedding and bridesmaid dresses there, custom designed by Michelle. She made me her greatest fan....... I love going to Giada but the only thing that ruffled my feathers is how they change out Sales Associates every other week. I had come into the store for the first time around Nov. 05. ""R"" as I will refer to her, helped me understand what the store was all about as well as find something that fit my body type since I am an ethnic woman and it's usually a challenge to find something to fit me well. I came back to both stores several times in between Nov. 2005 and Jan. 2006. When I finally returned in early March I had learned that ""R"" had been relieved of her duties at Giada. I totally understand the business aspects of hiring, firing and making employee cuts etc. but keeping a steady staff is what makes boutiques different than going to a department store. I went into Giada not knowing what to expect, so many of the other boutiques have pretentious sales staff, but at Giada this was not the case. The selection is one of a kind and I get complimented every time I wear the clothes I bought from them. Any time I have an event I know exactly where I'm going to get the outfit. I went into Giada looking for a cocktail dress with thoughts of a snooty place like St. Thomas. Was I surprised!! They were so courteous and helpful. They talked to me about colors and styles I liked and really seemed to care about my neds. I would go back here in the future to look for dresses and gowns. I was dazzled by the beautiful stores. I had money in my pocket and a special occasion on the rise. But low and behold, I walked out empty handed because a size 6 was the largest I saw in nearly every dress there. I'm not a ""plus-size"" woman. I wear a 10 on a good day and a 12 on about 5 days per month ;) I have a bmi of 22. That's perfectly healthy. I asked the sales associate if I was looking in the wrong place, and she said that this was not a new problem, that the owner refuses to get ""bigger girl"" clothes in - no matter how many times the sales staff addresses the issue with her. more

I came in with the goal of finding that head-turning dress that I like to impress my beau with once a year. I'd passed this place on the way home each day, but had never stopped in. I was delighted to find so many beautiful, tasteful styles - as well as the really funky ones too - and ended up having a very tough time choosing between four very different outfits - but all equally as gorgeous. I settled on one lovely one - with the help of a friend and Giada's incredibly helpful staff - two very friendly ladies who gave me some great feedback - whether I liked it or not.
