After going to several jewelry stores, our search for an eternity band ended at Genesis! Their selection of eternity bands was extensive to say the least. Most stores had about 5 or 6 to choose from. Genesis had dozens and dozens and dozens. And the help I received was second to none. I had even been told by other jewelers that most eternity bands take months to obtain different sizes, but Genesis had my size and I LOVE it! I bought my wife a gorgeous diamond and sapphire pendant at Genesis. The price was amazing, the quality was on the level of Tiffany's. I heard about Genesis on the radio and thought it sounded too good to be true. But the store was packed when I went in and now I can see why. They had so much to choose from - and they seemed so relaxed, like they were having fun. There was absolutely no sales pressure and they took lots of time to explain the ins and outs of the jewelry business. I dont normally write reviews of businesses on websites, but I feel like Nashville is blessed to have a retailer like this. I met the owner, he is local and from what I could tell - this is not chain store...it's truly locally owned. Great experience all the way around... Pros: Value more

My fiance and I went to Genesis last year when we were picking out my engagement ring. The owner of the store helped us out a lot and there was NO pressure at all. We did not buy that day but my fiance did return to get my engagement ring there. We are now getting married in 3 months and chose to look at rings this last week. My fiance was set on going back to Genesis to get both of our rings, while we had all intention of just going to look we were greeted by a friendly salesman. It then became a little too pushy for us though. The next thing we knew he was already ringing us up for our rings. While the price of my band was great the price of my fiance's was a little to steep for our budget and he felt too intimidated to back out at that point. The next day my fiance called and canceled his order and went back in to look and told him what he was looking for in his budget. He then was pushed again for rings that were not in our budget so he left without anything. We were so thrilled in the past but will now go and buy my fiance's ring elsewhere. Today I went into Genesis Diamonds to get my ring cleaned and to just ""LOOK"" at anniversary bands. My boyfriend and I are getting married in 3 months and still need bands. We just moved to Nashville and I keep hearing the ads on the radio. So today I happen to be in the Green Hills area and stopped to just ""LOOK."" I had no intention of buy ANYTHING today but from the moment I walked in, I experienced what a jewelry store or any up scale store should be. I was greeted with a warm smile and told the salesman what I was basically looking for. He and I talked for awhile and in 15min of talking he picked a couple of rings out. He nailed it, all the other jewelry stores I went to could only show me catalog pictures or direct me to a web site, but I couldn't believe there it was. I quickly looked at the price. Thinking it would probably be out of my budget, it was less than what I was going to SETTLE with. At this point the jeweler came out and gave me my SPARKLING ring and when I put the 2 rings together I was speechless. Still speechless I looked at the price tag again just make sure, and I must say they mean no haggle prices. I called my boyfriend and we met after he left work. Before I left the salesman wrote ALL the information and gave me his card, I LOVED how there was no pressure to buy or put money down to save a special price. When I came back in we were greeted by another salesman who instantly recognized me from earlier. He got everything out for us until our salesman was available. Once our salesman was finished up with his other customer, he came over and my boyfriend said ""Order it."" I am SOOO excited and cant wait until its ready. As we were leaving the Owner came over to see what we picked and thanked us for our purchase. We left with such an impression we will definitely be getting my boyfriends ring there. I was amazed that when I had a problem it was taken care of without a hassel. I bought a nice platinum and diamond engagement ring about a year ago. Over the holidays I had an accident and the shank of the ring was smashed and some of the small diamonds came out. I went in knowing I would be looking at a big repair bill because it was my fault. When I got there and explained the situation, I was told the ring would be sent to the designer to be fully restored to original condition or replaced if it was too badly damaged to be restored. I held my breath for the estimate. Then the salesman told me there would be NO CHARGE. He wanted me to be a customer for life and my family too and this was just part of being there after the sale. I had been looking all around the Nashville area the last couple of months for a new diamond for our 20th anniversary. My husband wanted me to find what I wanted and he would pick it up. Everywhere I went the prices seemed out of my budget or there wasn't any selection. Finally a friend of mine recommende that I go to see you guys at Genesis. Thank goodness. In one visit I felt the friendliness and honest desire of the salesperson to help me find what I wanted. Most places I felt like I was being pushed to buy from a selection of just a couple of stones. Your lady showed me about a dozen 2 carat stones until I found the one just right for me. Well within my budget and much less than other places. Their prices are way above normal. Their lies will lead them to loose more and more customers without a doubt. I have purchased a stone for a custom ring at nearly half the price they were offering. I went to Genesis first and found the pearls I was looking for, but I wanted to keep shopping just to compare. I ended up coming right back to Genesis a week later because they had the best product, the best service, and the best price. I will definitely go back next time I need jewelry. more

My husband and I have been shopping for a few months for anniversary bands to put on either side of my ring. Four out of the five jewelry stores we went to had to take our information and call us back to get a price for what we wanted to ""custom build"". One of the stores never even called us back whereas the other stores seemed to change their prices depending on which salesperson we were talking to when we would come in. A friend of mine recommended Genesis Diamonds because her son had just bought an engagement ring from them. We walked in and explained exactly what we wanted and they gave us a price in less that one minute and had it built for us in HALF of the time that the other stores were promising us. I would absolutely recommend Genesis Diamonds to anyone who is making a purchase because you can trust and believe that they will do everything above and beyond to make you happy. What else can I say? I bought a 2.02 D-SI2 GIA ideal cut diamond for less than my best friend's father in law, who owns a few jewelery stores, could give me. He had to fly a few diamonds for me to look at. Genesis Diamonds had fifty to choose from and they also gave me their life time upgrade policy and a 90 day price protection. Their sales people were very knowledgeable and patient and made my shopping experience very pleasant. When it comes to diamonds and the designer jewelery, they are four or five years ahead of their competition. Thank you Genesis Diamonds for everything. We love having you here in Nashville. I am a very busy woman that has spent the past month and a half living a nightmare during the weekends: shopping for my engagement ring. The more stores we visited, the more confused we got. Chain stores made me feel that I was going to wear the same ring other 1,000 women wear; their sales speech was so fake that I just couldn't belive a word; and they wanted me to like something I really didn't like... that was the end! more

Finally a place with a great selection of larger stones. I've been looking for a while for a 2-3 carat diamond for our anniversary. My wife has been wanting to see different shapes and qualities. Everywhere we went would have a stone or two to show but no real selection. At Genesis we saw rounds, radiant, cushion and princess. They showed us at least 5 or 6 of each size in various qualities. Everywhere else made it a point that they could get us what we wanted but they would have to call their supplier or corporate office and have 1 or 2 stones sent in for us to look at. We went into Genesis expecting the same selection that we had seen in other stores. So \r many jewelers have more or less the same things in every store. But Genesis Diamonds had \r many more designers and rings other options than all of the other store we had been to. \r We also never expected a jewelry store to be so great at making the diamond shopping \r process so easy to understand. Shopping for a diamond can be very overwhelming but I must say the staff at Genesis Diamonds really took away the pressure of picking out the perfect diamond. Their staff was not only welcoming but were also very attentive to my every question and concern. I have purchased various pieces of jewlery in my life to which I considered to be high quality but can honestly say that I am even more so blown away with what Genesis offered me. I now tell everyone to go to Genesis because I am truely pleased. If you want above and beyond service and quality then I would go see for yourself at Genesis. Really friendly staff. Prices are far better than the competition. Sizing is done professionally by an in house jeweler. We were always treated fairly. If you are looking for something that is not just like all the other stores have, this is the place for you. more
