good sandwiches 9/24/2005

They claim to have the flamed chicken in LA. I thought the food was good, but it wasn't out of this world. Not far from the museums, it could be a decent choice for some cheap fare quick to eat. Better than Mcdonalds for sure! It's located in a little strip mall just south of Wilshire on La Brea. more

Great Onion Rings! 8/9/2005

Every once in awhile I get a craving for steak fries and onion rings, and that's when I call Flame Chicken. We live about two blocks away but the luxury of having this greasy amazing food delivered is too good to pass up. I'm not a fan of anything else there really, my boyfriend really enjoys their sandwiches. He even had their falafel platter once and said it wasn't too bad. It's a great cheap eat. more

Huge sandwiches also big on taste 8/8/2005

The philly cheesesteak sandwich is as good as any I've had here in California, if not better, but the highlights of this place are the wonderfully delicious beer battered onion rings. All of their portions are large and more than enough for two meals if one was so inclined, of course when you are looking for huge steak sandwiches isn't the point to finish in one sitting? more
