While the menu is limited Black Dog Coffee makes some of the tastiest sandwiches in town, including a cold meatloaf sandwich that is primo. No matter what you do make sure that your accompaniment is one of the frozen blended drinks. The white chocolate raspberry is better than anything you'll find at Starbucks or Coffee Bean.

This particular Marie Callenders would never be picked out of a lineup if not for its signage. The exterior and interior decor have much loftier standards than any of the other restaurants in this chain and fortunately so do the chefs. The food here is very good though not terribly varied. Of course the wide selection of wonderful pies more than makes up for this.

The philly cheesesteak sandwich is as good as any I've had here in California, if not better, but the highlights of this place are the wonderfully delicious beer battered onion rings. All of their portions are large and more than enough for two meals if one was so inclined, of course when you are looking for huge steak sandwiches isn't the point to finish in one sitting?

This small restaurant shares its space with a florist, which certainly helps the ambiance since often times floral scents will mix with those of the kitchen in a pleasant way. This restaurant recently underwent renovations and it seems that while the decor went up the taste went down, but the omelets and lunch sandwiches are still pretty good despite the not too cheap prices. A nice pick if your environment matters as much as your taste buds.
