This museum is great to go with your kids. It's very small but there is a large picnic area by it and it is on Main St. which has tons of cute shops and restaurants. The museum itself is best known for its miniatures. They also have a historical section which has some of the local animals and information about Native Americans. I believe it's closed Mondays but it's a great activity for any day.

We bought a rav 4 here a year and a half ago and they were very helpful in helping us find the car we were looking for. We wanted one of the special edition ravs with the frosted white and they helped us look all over for it and had it brought in the same day. They even let us a borrow a gigantic red bow to put around it (if was a gift). Now we take it there for services and they are still as helpful and polite.

Although it is a little expensive I really love this place. Every time I go they do an amazing job on my car. They thoroughly clean the inside and out and even do things like amoral the tires. This isn't a 5 minute car wash. They work hard and take their time. This wash usually lasts me at least two months too so to me it is well worth it.

One Sunday we were bored so we decided to check this place out and it was actually really neat. Every few months they get a new display which ranges from muscle cars to cars of political figures. They also have a cute little diner type restaurant inside and a gift shop with some really neat things. It's great for the whole family and very inexpensive I highly recommend it.

I went to this museum for an art class and there really isn't much to it. I think it's a little bit more for kids than adults. There are parks around though and it is a really nice quiet area of Thousand Oaks. If you have a project or want to take your kids to something a little more educational than a movie I'd recommend Chumash.

While this place is a little rinky dink it had everything we were looking for. Wireless internet, free parking, and a convenient location. The hotel isn't that bad, and it's clean enough. I think only some of the rooms are renovated so call to confirm with them that you are getting a renovated one. They also offered early check in and I think late check out so if you plan to do a lot of sight seeing this place is more than fine.

You will truly find everything here. I mean every movie, cd, record, even some tapes. You can buy things used or new and the prices are great. Amoeba started off in the bay area and if you're ever up there go to the one in Berkeley. Sometimes the line is really long so get ready to be there for awhile. Oh and you can't bring in shopping bags so you'll have to leave them behind the counter if you have them.

Cd city is a great little local shop where you can buy sell and trade CD's. You can find a lot of your old favorites at really great prices. It's right by Thousand Oaks High School off Moorpark Rd. in the shopping center with the Pizza place. Sometimes parking is rough but it can be worth finding your favorite cd.
