167 HELL RIDE 10/25/2009

Good: THE DRIVER WAS VERY QUIET.. Bad: BECAUSE HE WAS ASLEEP!! JERKIN 60-65 MILES AN HOUR DOWN THE 167. AT FIRST I THOUGHT HE MUST BE A TERRIBLE DRIVER, THEN I CAUGHT HIS REFLECTION IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR--HE WAS ASLEEP!!! VERY ASLEEP!! I SAID ARE YOU SLEEPING? HIS EYES LIDS OPENED AND ONCE AGAIN WE HEADED INTO ONCOMMING TRAFFIC THEN YANKED BACK ACROSS INTO THE LANE. I KEPT TALKING LOUDLY ASKING HIM QUESTIONS, ASKED HIM TO TURN DOWN THE HEAT. AND HE DID- BUT MR NICE GUY IS GOING TO KILL PEOPLE IN THE KENT,AUBURN,AND RENTON AREA.WILL GET CAB #.. Improvements: THIS COMPANY TO EVALUATE EACH EMPLOYEE BEFORE THEY HIT THE ROAD AND TAKE ALL OUR LIVES INTO THIER HANDS..COMMON FARWEST "WAKE -UP!". i am from a different state. i first called a cab and accidentally gave them the wrong address. i waited for about 15 min and farwest driver calls and says he cant find me. then i give a the correct address. it comes there from the other side of town and services me. i cant believe that they went that far and beyond to help me get a ride. thank you farwest! will always use farwest when in town. more

WORST CAB DRIVER EVER!!! STAY AWAY! 3/26/2009

This is the worst experience of service or "non-service" i have ever heard of. My 8 year old patient's mother was denied service from one doctor's appointment to our office for his cancer treatment. She is from out of town and has no car, little money, and is caring for her two children while her son is receiving treatment. Because of her situation, she has medical vouchers to take her from appointment to appointment. The cab arrived and told her "cash only" several times and was very adamant and rude about declining the vouchers. She explained the situation to him that she was going to the hospital for her son's cancer treatment and that she did not have nearly enough cash to pay him. He exclaimed "I don't care where you are going or that your son has cancer, it is cash only!!!" After pleading with him some more, the cab driver shouted profanity several times at her in front of her 8 and 5 year old children and gave her the finger before driving off... leaving her in tears hopeless and afraid on the sidewalk. This is the worst behavior I have ever heard, and I don't know what heartless jerk was driving, but I can tell you that I will never promote this company, and I hope for her sake and yours that you won't either. more

Farwest does indeed suck 9/26/2007

This company nearly caused me to miss my flight. I called at 6 PM on the 14th of Sept for a ride to the airport (five minutes away) to be picked up at 6:30 PM. I needed to be at the airport by 7 PM. At 6:50 PM I called again when they didn't show. I was told by a different person they couldn't find my information, so I gave it again and was told they would arrive in ten minutes. At 7:05 I called again, admittedly angry, and got nothing but attitude rather than resolution. I hung up, threw my things in the back of my car and drove to the airport. I left my vehicle in long term parking and managed to catch my flight due to it being delayed. When I returned I called Farwest and asked to speak to a manager. I was put through to his voicemail, where I requested he call me back about a problem I had with his company. Four days later I called again, and again I was put through to his voicemail where I left the same message. Eight days after this I called yet again, and this time got through to the superintendent, "Manny". This man did nothing but continually interrupt me as I tried to explain my situation, and then when I asked him to stop interrupting he called ME rude and hung up. I later looked online for reviews of this company and have yet to find one reflecting in the positive. My own, obviously, will not help them fix that. more

Farwest sucks 8/2/2007

I was just picked up by one it was cab 230 he was arab. Now I had lots of stuff from the store and 3 kids. He was so rude he was on the phone the whole time. He didn't even help me put the stuff in the cab or out when we got home. After I paid he told us to hurry up which I thought was ignorant. After he left I called and left a message with the head of their department. They haven't called me back yet. I know that all theses drivers are not american. I understand they think women are under them. But in america the rules are diffrent here. They need to be taught to realize that this is not the middle east. I will never go through farwest ever again. more

Reliable 6/15/2005

I have used Farwest taxi for probably 20 early morning trips to the airport and they have not failed me yet. I would have to say thats a pretty good record as far as cabs go. My only possilbe issue is they have actually been too early a few times which freaked me out a bit. But that being said I would have to say with all the problems Ive had elsewhere before them thats pretty impressive. more
