Edgemont Caterers

Visited Edgemont last week for a wedding party. I was truly impressed with how friendly the staff was and how well everyone was treated. The DJ was awesome and perfect with all the children as well as getting to all the songs that were requested. Will from now on recommend this hall to everyone planning an event as well as plan all of my own personal events there. more

I been using Edgemont Caterers for years just used it last week first time disappointed, you were lucky to get a drink bartender never there. Food was not the same, but I will say DJ was great Ralph thank you for doing a great job with the kids more

Have to say Edgemont Caterers was awesome!!! My son’s christening was perfect! The owner went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for my son’s Christening! Not to mention the price was right, very affordable!!! The Staff was very helpful especially to my elderly family members who needed help walking, they made sure they got their food and bought them there drinks; they went out of their way to be very attentive. My family said the food was great, too much to choose from and loved the dessert table with such an array of assortments, mini pastries, cheese cakes & puddings not to mention the chocolate fountain the kids LOVED!!!! Well my family enjoyed this Hall and had a lot of nice things to say! Very Thankful!! more

Went to Edgemont Caterers for a Wedding. What a nice place, everyone was friendly, the staff & Donna were very nice. The food was fabulous and the chocolate fountain was to die for!!! \r The owner made sure everyone was having a good time. I really appreciated that she made sure we were. I cant say enough about this place. I would definetely reccomond this to anyone who is looking to have a great spectular Wedding!!! You will truly LOVE IT!! more

I had my daughters 16th Birthday at Edgemont Caterers and the food was fabulous staff was very friendly and helped with all our needs. The place was beautiful and was able to get all the food for a GREAT price. I would definitely recommend this establishment to ALL my friends and family!! What a great time we had!! I attended a Wedding as a guest at Edgemont Caterers. The Wedding was in the Hall, very Professional. Afterward I was impressed with the food everyone had a wonderful time. Entire staff was attendant to all our needs right down to presenting the wedding cake. I look forward to booking or attending another function at Edgemont Caterers. more

I recently had my daughters bridal shower there, because I had been there for a party & a friend had recomended it. The waitress was wonderful but could have used some help, she handeled the party herself.The first problem was the dessert table ws not as promised NO pudding, they told me there would be two, the cakes were frozen & stale & nothing more than something you could buy at Sams Club, I was told thr would be three kinds of wine.... there were two, had to ask 3 times for coffee cups to be put out & more plates on the buffett table, I had some complaints about cold food to.Needless to say it was embarrising . I called the office to complain & was told that this was not satisfactory & they would call me back.... no phone call, they had the guts to ask me to fill out a survey about the place, havent heard a word from them. I will NEVER have anything there again. Get everything in writing or you dont get it! Oh, and no parking. more

Had my 30th Birthday party here yesterday and I first and foremost want to say the staff is very nice and considerate. Even when a glass cup broke accidentally or when I hung around to wait for my ride after the party ended, they didn't have a single bad thing to say and were completely courteous. The bartender had a lot of business throughout the evening and had a smile the whole time. I also want to say they're very affordable, it cost $25 a head for adults (minimum fifty adults) which included the cost of alcohol and a cake ($10 for children over three, free for children under). We had a dinner buffet and the hot food was generally good (turkey was very good) but people really enjoyed the sweet table with bite sized desserts and puddings. I think the variety of beverages was also greatly appreciated, as I said we had an open bar which cost an additional $5 a head and featured alcohol and soda, and there was also hot tea and coffee offered with flavored syrups for the coffee (Irish c more

The cake provided was interesting in that it was half chocolate and half vanilla but it was dry and the frosting had sugar that wasn't properly mixed in it. The DJ was nice and did a good job hosting the party, but being above the party made it challenging to contact her. She was also given a list of music to use but had difficulty getting a hold of the songs and only a small portion of requested music was played (generally dubstep was requested but was largely absent). Amy bent over backwards to make my daughter's sweet 16 Party a grand success. The food was delicious & beautifully presented, the set ups were beautiful& service was outstanding. The price was extremely reasonable. Thank you! more

I had a 60 Birthday Party and the food was great the prices can't be beat. The $200 towards gratuity, tax are well worth it! Everyone had fun and the Staff was friendly and very nice to our family. Would like to thank everyone for making this a special night to remember. Dave more

Make sure when you call to check on a date, they are looking at the right book. I called 2x to check on a date which i was told was available both times. The 2nd day I called was their deposit day (wed, 4-8) and after waiting in line to put the deposit on, I was told "oh that date is booked", apparently the girl who was answering the phones had a different book than the woman doing the bookings that night? Thats some SMART business practicing right there. And there is NO parking, they charge a $200 service charge on all parties, which is not listed on their website. more

Wedding\r I was not satisfied with how business was handled. The cake was not the size promised and not enough help for the party size. Parking is a problem. more

I celebrated my daughter's birthday with Edgemont. My experience was good. I don't like how they incorporate all the taxes separately ex: bartender, gratuity, tax, cake and every little thing is added on in addition to the per head price. It can get really pricey by the end. Aside from that they could have had add'l help with the food, only 2ppl were assigned for a party of 150. The food was not ready at the time expected either. But the hall itself is very nice. I would recommend for parties under 120 ppl. more

I would like to review the reception suites for my daughter's sweet sixteen birthday. I am interested in reserving august 17, 20008 in the evening if possible, for about four hours. more
