But most important, he is as honest as the day is long. He is forthright, ethical and thorough. He does not do work you didn’t authorize. He even saves the old part, for your inspection. He stands behind every part and every test.\r . You will find none better than Eddie. Every Marine I know, conducts himself with dignity and honor. When a problem arises, we handle it like gentlemen, face to face. I am a retired auto mechanic and shop owner of 40 years. I consider finding Eddie's South Philly Auto Repair a great relief and comfort to me. I first met Ed the owner when I brought my Cadillac in for State Inspection and I noticed that he was a ASE MASTER TECH expert mechanic,which means he is certified for engine, transmission,power steering, air conditioning and every major component on my Cadillac and all other makes and models. He is also a certified EMISSION & SAFETY PENNSYLVANIA STATE INSPECTION Mechanic and an OFFICIAL INSPECTION STATION. My entire family now bring their cars to Ed. I have found his pricing to be more than fair and competitive. His work has been outstanding to date. Make sure you give him your email address for some great deals. Car troubles are bad enough. this guy is a complete rip off when i say rip off. he charges double for parts. i have 2001 subsru forester . he charged me 400 for new pads all around, and then said that was with my disabled veteran's discount. kind guy that f u and not eve give you reach around total pennis face ,from a real marine that wishes i could chokew the money out of him . what areal piece of gum under your shoe. thanks for your crappy service , i dont know how this guy don't slice his throat shaving if he had a ounce of class more

took my mom's car to Eddie's for A/C service.\r very friendly, honest and fast service.\r would recommend it more

The guy didnt seem to care that much for the client. You have no idea how much he overcharges... The review above is totally fake. if you check the guys profile. That is the only review he has written. Dont ever go there. Cons: Waste of money more

I've been taking my cars to Eddie for over 20 years., even though I spend more time in Jersey now. I send my neice and nephew to him. Not only is he a good mechanic, he is also an honest man. On more than one occasion he recommended that I take a car to the dealership for repair as they had better equipment for the job.\r I also like that he asks a lot of questions about what is wrong -- sometimes mechanics do not take women too seriously when it comes to car problems. Then he takes the time to tell you all the possibilities around the repair and what effect the bad part has on the car. more
