As a bonus, he's a color expert. If you really want to make Portland a more beautiful place, go see William and trust him to work his magic on you. more

Tracey is a miracle worker. 8/17/2010

I recently went to have my hair cut by Tracey. I have (had) horrible hair and really bad fly-a-ways. She layered my hair and showed me tricks to manage my fly-a-ways! I have been dealing with this for years and am soooo happy that I don't have little hairs sticking up now every time I look in the mirror. Thank you Tracey! more

Highly Recommended 5/29/2009

I've lived in the Portland area since 1980. I went from stylist to stylist until I found Ken. I've been visiting Ken for about 12 years now. Over the years my hair has been long, short, and in-between. No matter the length or style it feels and looks great. Although I have lots of good things to say about Ken, like he is a warm and friendly person, my favorite characteristic is that he has always seems to have fresh ideas. Give Ken a try, I bet you'll become a loyal customer as well. more

Walking into the salon, which glows with a lot of natural daylight, I am received by my esthetician Tracey. I can see the owner Ken busily working in the background and he throws out a generous smile. Tracey takes me into her treatment room and provides me with a very relaxing and cleansing facial. I walk out feeling great, having been in such a positive and professional environment, I look forward to my next visit here. Tracey @ Eclipse has been my stylist for seven or eight years. Wouldn't switch for anything. The salon is relaxing, too, with a comfortably stylish atmosphere and friendly, professional people. Not only do I get great hair care, I've enjoyed the ever-changing art display and even bought a piece. more

In additon to a 5 star hair style you enjoy a great show room on the seventh floor, surrounded by windows, light, and intriguing wall art from local artists. I auditioned entirely too many salons before being referred to Ken Selis' Eclipse Salon over 10 years ago. Everyone has an immediate connection with Ken and I was no different. If you're going to spend that much time in a chair then it helps if both you and the stylist are enjoying themselves and we do! Ken and his entire team not only understand the art and science of hair but also deeply care about their clients and their hair care goals. No, I don't work for Eclipse but I have and will continue to refer people to Ken and Eclipse Salon. Ken Selis doesn't just cut and color hair. He makes you feel beautiful. From the moment you sit in his chair until you leave, he focuses on you and your hair and your life. He is a master at knowing what is needed because he listens, really listens to your hopes and dreams and together, you figure out what is the best hair style to take you there. Honestly, I feel ten years younger than the day I walked into his salon two years ago. Want a salon where you are known and made to feel special? By everyone in the place? Denise Gordon is the best Skin care specialist in Portland. 11/4/2007

I recently had a facial at Eclipse the Salon. Denise Gordon is by far the best Esthetician I have ever used. She is extremely knowledgeable and her techniques are far superior to all I have ever experienced. I had Micro- dermabrasion and Micro- current treatments in addition to my standard facial... I left with skin that looked refreshed and younger than when I walked in. The lines around my eyes were gone.. skin is naturally blotchy due too vitiligo ( white patches due to lack of pigment ) .. Denise was able to soften the appearance of these areas. Pros: Ambience, professionalism, free parking, great services, great results, relaxing Cons: there are no cons more
