I used to order from Deluxe Diner and be able to reliably count on consistently good meals. However, their standards have seemingly declined. The last couple of meals I've ordered have arrived cold and in increasingly small portions. For the price I'm paying, I expect more/better. I realize it's only diner food and I was once satisfied with what I was receiving, but no longer! more

If you are going to put "Green Peppers" on your chili cheese dogs, you need to inform people of this. Although I cannot understand why you would do this to begin with... waste of my money. more

Freakin love this place. Not only is it open late, and vastly cheaper than every single other place to order from, most of the food is frggin fantastic. I only usually order breakfast, but I've done a few dinner items and burgers too. And the hot dogs rock! However....for the love of god stay away from the friend chicken, its terrible. The only thing I've ever gotten from there thats just....bad. more

The food is amazing and I won?t give negative stars for the delivery but the delivery man was rude beyond belief. I order food all the time and have lived in Chicago for 30 years and have NEVER been spoken to by a delivery man like that before. I recommend paying in cash for the tip so you know that you are tipping someone who deserves it. more

order#4622-5471, April 22, 2012 @ 7pm. Rec'd food 80 minutes later, so of course the food was cold. Ordered Mostaccioli because it comes with meat sauce...it arrived with marinara sauce, not a speck of meat in it. Reuben had almost zero dressing and a few strands of sauerkraut. Unsatisfactory experience Deluxe Diner! more

Deluxe Diner has great home cooked food ambience. The food is delivered hot and with the usual extras like bread and butter that make it feel like a home cooked meal. The baked cod is amazing! more

So I ordered something for my 2 year old from the kids menu and somehow end up with five orders of the same item. To add up, I had to pay for all of them! When I talked to the manager, all he said was ""Well I was not the one who placed the order!"" more

worst country fried steak i've ever had-was like trying to cut the sole of a boot. and how they dare charge 4.29 for 1 half-baked biscuit with about 2 tbsp of gravy, i don't know-i even ordered extra. don't bother with breakfast, the eggs were ok but they put the steak on top of my overeasy eggs. more

Not too bad. Close to home, arrived even faster than the estimated time, hot dog and fries were hot and my drink was cold. Not blow your socks off spectacular but pretty good. I'd order again for sure. more

I ordered breakfast, scambled eggs, sausage patties, and pancakes. I got some kind of skillet with tomatoes, green peppers and onions. I could not eat it because of allergies(that's why I didn't order this). Who ever got my order I am sure they were disappointed. I have eaten at the resturant also and it is not much better. The waitresses would rather talk to each other than serve you your food.No more chances for this place\\r 10\13\11\r Tried to give this place another chance, and they were up to their incompentent service again. I ordered pancakes for breakfast and got no butter or syrup. When I called the seem to not give a crap. Hopefully we will see this place closed in the near future. With the way economy is now, I don't see how they are still in business!!! They will not get another one of my hard earned dollars. I PROMISE!!!!! more

They did offer to send another order later or a partial reembursement, but I prefer they get it right the first time. more
