Not the best Greek in Richmond, but still very good 7/19/2010

Crazy Greek is on the corner of Broad and Staples Mill. You will never fail to find seating or parking. You can even call by phone and pick up your food. \r \r The menu is broad. There is most certainly something for everyone. With both Italian and Greek food, including pizza, Crazy Greek is not a one note restaurant. Indeed, they even serve pretty good pizza! The prices are also very reasonable. I definitely recommend Crazy Greek to anyone looking for some solid comfort food at good prices. \r \r The one downside I have with Crazy Greek is their food is not the best. It is very good, don't get me wrong. However, if you're looking for really good Greek food, I'd recommend Athens Tavern in Carytown on Robinson. For more on Athens Tavern, see my review there. Pros: Big restaurant, never packed, solid menu, great wait staff Cons: Not the best food, but pretty good more

a great value - A+ in service, price, menu - would return again and again 2/13/2009

Simply a great deal for the price. Have been here too many times to count. Professional service, great food - have never found a loser dish on this menu ! Friendly and cozy. Highly recommended. Epitomizes the best reasons to avoid chain restaurants and frequent family owned restaurants. Pros: food is great, service is professional, friendly place Cons: parking is a little short on spaces more

Bang for the buck 12/11/2005

Crazy Greek has great food for the money. I ordered the Dolmades and spankopita. Both were excellent. My cohort had the pita (very good). The remaining space on the plate was filled to the brim with excellent tasting french fries. This place stays pretty busy and had the old feel of a Greek restaurant. Pros: selection, food, affordable more

Mediocre Americanized Greek/Italian restaurant 11/21/2005

Stale bread, lack of tzaziki, brusque yet efficient service - the restaurant does no favor to either Greek or Italian cuisines. On the pro side, the pita bread was fresh and tasty, you won't leave hungry, and the prices are quite reasonable. Less than appealing location, simple decor with large paintings of famous Greek/Italian landmarks. Popular with families with children and octogenarians. Pros: Inexpensive, Portions Cons: No Tzaziki, Wilted Veggies more
