fishy food, bad soup, weird flavors....there was an unidentifiable flavor in the food....I dont know how it got such good reviews...oh well...but on the other hand the delivery gu...

I love this place and you will too. I eat here weekly and I love their Lo Mein, Sesame Chicken, Grill Salmon, Mussel and Ribs. Crab Rangoon and dumpling are so delicious that they made by themselves daily. Hot & sour soup and egg drop soup are my favorite that I can?t miss. The buffet is sort of small, but everything on it tastes great! The staffs are very nice and they put a lot of care into what they're serving. Awesome. It's always super clean and a great place to enjoy. more

Excellent food 3/4/2009

China emperor has exceptional god,great service. The food is cheap and there is a lot of variety between hot foods and cold foods. The place is setup nicely and is very romantic and relaxing. Slow Music playing combined with great food, there's no place like it. Its a must go more

Good selection, excellent service and affordable price. They make you feel welcome. China Emperor is one of the best Chinese restaurants in town. My favorite dishes have always been the crab ran goons, General Tso Chicken and hot and sour soup. I have been eating here for 15 years Pros: Thumbs up more

Food tastes ReAl Real good, very friendly people.This place is by FAR the best place I have been to. Unlike many other Chinese food restaurants, this one stands out. The people are fantastic, the service is great and the food is amazing. They really take care of you here. I wouldn't go to any other Chinese place!! more

fishy food, bad soup, weird flavors....there was an unidentifiable flavor in the food....I dont know how it got such good reviews...oh well...but on the other hand the delivery guy was very nice! Pros: prompt delivery Cons: not edible more

Best Chinese Food in Austin! 5/8/2008

China Emperor Restaurant is amazing! This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever been. So many delicious and tranditional chiese food here, General Tao's chicken, grill Salmon, Kuong Pao Chicken, especially, grill Mussels are so tasety. Environment here is so nice, romantic and neat. China Emperor has the best tranditional China culture, a long dragon flying in the sky, beautiful Chinese drawing hanging on the walls and surrounding by the golder roof! Pros: Thumbs Up more

Amazing taste from China Emperor 4/13/2008

Love China Emperor restaurant. They have really really good General Tso Chicken, Crab Ragoon, Baked Salmon, Louisiana Cajun Crawfish and many many more. This place also does a great house fried rice. Jasmine, the cashier, is extremely nice. Great place to have lunch and dinner with loved ones. I love this place. Pros: Thumbs up more

Amazing food from China Emperor 11/3/2007

I found this restaurant by chance and have not stopped going back! The restaurant staff are kind as can be, and the atmosphere is very traditional. The food is just amazing. I have gone many many times, and I am always impressed. You can't go wrong with any dish or soup. more
