If you're looking for a warm, friendly and yummy place to eat look no further than Chef Liao's. This warm family run restaurant just makes you want to go back again and again. Well, there's also the delicious freshly made potstickers that are even better than the dumplings that I've had in China. Other exceptional treats are the Garlic Noodles, the Yummy Yammy Fish, Orange Beef and a must order of Honey Walnut Prawns. The walnuts that are paired in this dish are nice and flaky unlike the honey walnuts that can be bought at the store, which tend to be hard. The menu offers a great variety of dishes that fit all of your dinner party's different taste. In addition to dining in, the restaurant also offers a take-out or delivery option and all are equally pleasing experiences. It's just as fast (if not faster) than ordering a pizza. more

CHEF LIAO ROCKS! The food is amazing, the staff is awesome, the restaraunt is very clean & it's a GREAT place to be when your craving for some of that good ol' asian food yum! If your ever around phinney or greenwood i totally recommend that you stop by and try their food you wont regret it! more

Great food- like you would expect at some fancy, schmancy high-end place. Down to earth, friendly staff who never fail to wave at regulars and you are a regular after your first visit. The food is fabulous- especially the black bean chicken chow fun. the honey walnut prawns and the General Tso's are the best I have ever had. Presentation is always lovely- a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. Visit this restaurant- it is a relatively unknown treasure in Phinney area and we need to keep it going. more

I cannot speak to the rest of the menu, but the Chinese food at Chef Liao is fresh and authentic. Everything we've tried -- mao po tofu, beef chow mein with black bean sauce, string beans, pot stickers, among others -- has been fantastic. more
