WOW! I just got back from my third visit to the Waxing Studio. I've seen two different estheticians - both great! Pros: Beautiful atmosphere, convenient, CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN, pleasant staff, professional, fast, family owned, nice owner! Cons: I'm just poor so I wish it were cheaper. But I wish everything were cheaper. Oh - but they send coupons which is a bonus! more

Great for a first-timer 1/11/2008

This was my first wax, but it won't be my last. Kristin is excellent. She's super-professional, friendly, and efficient. It didn't hurt nearly as much as I expected, and the results have been excellent. I will definitely be back! I went to the south Lamar loction today. It was my 2nt time at the waxing studio so far I have had Angelea and today I had Kristin, Angelea was so good I was aperhinsive about going to someone new but Kristin was just as good. It was very clean ! they know there stuff here. I highly recommended this place to any one getting waxed. they are the best... Pros: the music ,Ambience Cons: parking a little tight more

Best wax and amazing staff 8/11/2007

I've been going to the waxing studio since it first opened, I can say that I've always had a positive experience. I always walk out of there pleased with the job they do. Marin, Marilyn, and Jackie are all awesome! If you are like me getting your eyebrows waxed can make you a bit nervous because you never know how they will turn out. At the waxing studio you will never feel that way. These girls are experienced and always do a great job! Just try them once and you will be hooked! Pros: Comfortable atmosphere and great results more

I highly recommend The Waxing Studio, I have been to a couple of other places around town, and never felt really comfortable during my service. Marilyn was fast, efficient and was easy to talk to. I love knowing that can get in and out quickly for a brazilian wax. I am new to Austin so based on other's reviews I tried a few other spots in town and it took 45 min. Way too long for something so painful! (Which, by the way, was not as bad at The Waxing Studio as the other places I visited.) If you want a great WAX in 15 minutes this is the place.... hands down!!!!! Pros: comfortable environment, smells great, music , friendly staff Cons: 0 more

FAST & EFFICIENT 5/28/2007

This was the best full leg & brazilian wax I have EVER had!!! It was fast & efficient , I have been to other salons in this & other towns and almost every one misses spots of hair, This time I went over it , and nothing was missed. You have it down !!! & You have just made a new coustmer. Jodi, I'm not kidding ,that was the FASTEST, BEST wax I have ever had !!! my skin has never looked so good! 3/10/2007

I've been a client of the Waxing Studio for about 9 months now. The microdermabrasion facials are the best. My skin totally glows after a treatment. People always ask me how I keep my skin so healthy - I tell them that my facials help me maintain my glow. The atmosphere at the spa is always very relaxing and peaceful. Enough said! Most places take days for a leg and brazilian. This place took 10 minutes (I am not joking) and they did a phenomenal job. You've got to check this place out. Pros: Super Cool location and super clean rooms Cons: I had to wait two days to get in. more

Perfect spot for a quick wax - Get in and get out 1/31/2007

I needed a quick brazilan and brow wax and the Waxing Studio was able to get me in within 3 hours on the same day I called and they did a great job! Pros: Great service and super neat salon Cons: Had to drive in from Round Rock, open something up North! more

Most Painful Brazilian Wax ever - Better Places in town 1/28/2007

The studio and customer service was fine, cute, clean, chic.. However, it was by far the most painful Brazilian wax I've ever received - and I've had plenty. Maren didn't apply anything beforehand to ensure a good wax grab, the ripping was painful and to do the nether side, she had me lay on my stomach, wrap my hands back and pull my butt checks apart. This is the first time anyone has asked me to position this way and it felt down right foolish. She waxed in several areas more than once, leaving me raw and tender like I've never experienced before. In fact, I'm writing this four days after and I'm just now feeling ""healed"". I would not recommend going there for a Brazilian. Pros: Convenient locations / fast service Cons: Not worth the convenience or the fast service - painful, left healing for days more

Once you start, you can't stop! i've been a client at the waxing studio for a few months now, brow waxing and facials were my usual request. i felt so comortable in their salon that i recently considered taking the next big step. i was nervous about getting my first brazillian, but Kristin made my first experience a quick and easy one. i liked my results so much that i have continued to drive down to the south location on william cannon, until recently. Kristin is now working at the famous 78704/Lamar location, and seeing as that i live central, this location has made my waxing/salon experience even easier. the new location is HOT! Pros: AFFORDABLE PRICES, GREAT LOCATIONS! Cons: parking was a little tight, but ended up finding a spot after all. more

Best Brazilian wax I've had 1/20/2007

Waxing is not for everyone, but if you get waxed, this the one place you have to go. Its got a great vibe and the people are very nice and they do a great job! You'll definitely see me again. Pros: Excellent at what they do and the the salon is GREAT Cons: parking not that great but manageable more

Least painful wax ever. My appointment was with Kristin, and the combination of high-quality wax and awesome technique (""it's all in the wrist"") ended up meaning that I experienced virtually no pain. Great service, awesome facial experience 10/16/2006

This was my first time at the Waxing Studio, having been given a gift certificate there by my friends. I have to say that this was the best facial I have ever received. I had a lot of breakouts when I went, and now I can definitely see a difference. I also have to say that not only was the service great, but service from everyone I interacted with were great as well. It was definitely a great experience from beginning to end.
