Love it! 7/31/2005

I make the drive in to downtown and pay the parking to see Renee. She is an amazing stylist who really takes the time with my hair to get it right. She is also a great colorist. It is getting a bit procey, but with allthe money I have paid in bad haircuts over the years, I think the results I get with Renee are worth it. I have never left dissatisfied. The staff is always nice to me. Pros: Highly trained, Highly skilled, Feel welcomed Cons: Pay for DT Parking more

Chose this salon because it was close to work - will definitely go back again. The staff was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was calming, and I love the cut I received. more

Take a Spa Day 10/14/2002

Avant Salon is reminiscent of a New York salon, with its young, black-clad stylists and Art Deco decor. Most are (naturally) blonde and ""Minnesota nice"", which adds a softer touch without taking away any of the edge. New Yorkers will enjoy the proximity to Palomino and downtown hotels, as well as the reasonable prices. A perfect place to recharge, either all day or in the middle of the afternoon.
