Yesterday at about 5pm my car was damaged by their carwash. I was told I could return in the morning to talk to the manager because apparently they don't have business cards. I return this morning on my way to work at 7:50 AM to have the manager tell me two things. 1) They are not liable and ""We would be out of business if we were liable for the damage caused by the carwash."" and 2) ""Not to sound like a smart ass, but you should have read the disclaimer.""
Having worked at the Marriott as a Valet Manager for 3 years I have some experience in damage to guest cars and let me tell you this is NOT the appropriate way to deal with the problem. The manager literally mocked me.
I have lived in West Seattle for years and have frequently picked up snacks, beer, and even filled my gas tank at this Chevron. After my first car-wash there I will never return. And when you pull up to the old rickety machine they call a ""car-wash"" you'd be wise to turn around and go to Brown Bear, where at least they will treat you with respect.
