it's probably one of the better sushi restaurants i've been to in houston, ambience-wise. very trendy, yes, but unlike any other sushi place i've been to it provides a somewhat romantic atmosphere: cloaked in darkness, candle-lit tables, small spaces to create a niche ... the loud trance/techno music on the other hand also gives it a pseudo-clubish feel, which may not be ideal to carry on a conversation. although it's pretty cool to see the dj in action in the upstairs booth, viewable from below whilst you dine. the sushi is not bad, in my opinion, it's just like any other trendy sushi restaurant. interesting martini choices, like the lychee martini and wasabi martini. great place for pre-drinking or dining before painting the town red.*
Pros: ambience, great for pre-drinking
Cons: parking, loud music
