I have had the pleasure of using Mark and his guys to move my family, my parents, my daughter along with storing both my and parents' furniture at his facility for several years. And it has been a pleasure! There is absolutely no stress involved - thats how you know you're dealing with true professionals. Great job, Mark!! Keep up the good work! Everything was a mess when they showed up but they got right to work doing what they do and things ended up going very smoothly and way better than I ever could have anticipated! I had to work hard at convincing my skeptic wife that movers were the way to go - boy did Superior make me look good!!!!!!!!!!!! I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family! more

The name says it all! The guys that did my move were just GREAT! They did the job in less time than I anticipated, even though I was a little disorganized. It didn't matter, they just kept things ""moving"". I would definately use them again and would recommend them to anyone who needs a hassle free, stress free move. more

These guys are great! If you need movers, there is no need to look any further. They were hard working professionals who knew exavtly what to do and made everything so much easier. Moving is stressful enough but these guys really took the stress away and made it a great experience. more

I have used this company to move myself 3 times, my parents twice, my daughter once and each and every time they have gone above and beyond our expectations!! What a life saver this company was! Everything was crazy until the guys showed up! They took the bull by the horns and knew exactly what they were doing. They worked very hard and quick and the truck was packed perfectly!!! Its rare to have a truly enjoyable experience with a company these days so I had to come on and just I could go on and on and on about how wonderful these guys are. I was surprised when I didn't see my recently posted review. I've worked with the owner of this moving company for almost 30 years, and have NEVER been disappointed . I've moved to six different business locations, and I've already lost track of the personal moves they've done for me. Each move was completed on time, according to fee, with courtesy, and with complete respect for my belongings. One of the most difficult moves was the one that handled my Mom's belongings after she passed. I found the movers to be understanding and patient, and I felt completely comforted by their respect for her special items.\r \r While I've noticed some negative reviews, a company doesn't stay in business for over 30 years if they haven't delivered on their promises. \r \r This is a GREAT company, and the owner is still on-site, which is remarkable. Superior Moving & Storage is the worst moving company I have ever used. If you speak to someone on the phone, especially Mark, take everything they say with more than a grain of salt. Almost everything that was told to me when I scheduled the move turned out to be false. We were assured Superior kept their noses clean of hidden fees. This was not true at all, as the first thing the movers informed me of when they arrived at the house was that there is a fee for packing 'delicate' items into the moving truck. Uh, what? The storage also ended up costing more than what I was told on the phone. The movers themselves were fine, although they were late and caused some cosmetic damage to the inside of my house. Also, the movers parked their truck in the middle of the road in Philly, leading to a parking ticket that I had to pay. Overall, don't bother with this company. We have used Superior twice: in April 2009 and now, again, in July 2010 and we would highly recommend them to anyone/everyone. With both our moves, the professionalism was absolutely great. Our movers were on time, very courteous, friendly ( we felt like we have known them for many years), extremely careful with our belongings, and very trustworthy. Our moving guys moved us quickly and without any problems. I can not understand how anyone could give this Company a negative review since both our experiences were so flawless! The pricing was reasonable with both moves with no hidden charges or surprises...Mark was always very honest and open...told us the hourly rate, the travel time, etc, and the actual cost was less than my estimate. Superior movers....take a hike...I moved in Nov., 2009 and so did my girlfriend. The crew of two that moved me asked for cash on the spot and did a decent job. Then a week later they moved my girlfriend and a whole different story. One of the guys that performed excellent showed up and then the mover from hell (Flash)accompanied him. Upon breaking a marble coffee table and the two glass panes to her sofa table, he asked her if he could use her cell phone! We called Mark afterwards and he gave us some line about letting us pick furniture from a warehouse in Philly to replace the damaged goods. Later after he avoided my calls we gave up and sucked up the loss. Take my advice...look elsewhere, and save yourself the hassle. Cons: Broke my girlfriends furniture more

I am putting most of my things in storage for 6 months until my new house is ready. Superior Moving came to take my stuff and put it in storage AND make one stop to drop off a few things at my boyfriend's apt. From the minute they arrived , ON TIME, the two guys were awesome. They were so thorough and careful with all of my belongings. I would definitely use Superior again and recommend them to my friends. AND, I called many other places before committing to them and their prices are the best in the area. Pros: felt good about them handling all of my stuff more

Got this company to move furniture on short notice from an apartment where a relative had passed away. Overall, the most unfriendly and least helpful movers that I have used. It wasn't that they cussed me out or anything, but their attitude was that everything seemed to be an imposition to them and they felt we were making their life difficult. It didn't help that when I made the arrangements on Saturday, I was told that the payment could be by cash or credit card. Then when the movers showed up, they said they would only accept cash because it was a Sunday and their office was close. I could understand that, but its not like we changed the schedule or anything. So after a trip to the bank we got the move done, and I'd say they were fair in terms of speed and knowing what they were doing. The last thing was that when we made the reservation for the move, the dispatcher said they could take a few pieces to the Salvation Army which was next to their offices, and send us the receipt for that. The moving guys treated this as just one more imposition on their time, and of course we never got sent a receipt. Would never use again, or recommend them. I am so satisfied w/the experience I had using SUPERIOR, I don't know where to begin. I truly wish I had found them sooner, as we have moved twice in the past year. \r \r I was having our POD delivered to our new home and needed it to be unloaded. From the moment Mark answered the phone, I knew I was in great hands. He was friendly, honest, and VERY accommodating to our moving needs. Whatever day, time, location, he was going to make it work for us. \r \r The following day the POD arrived. I called to let SUPERIOR know we were ready. I had the pleasure of speaking w/Joseph this time. Again, I was greeted w/respect, humor, and a genuine concern to make this as stress free as possible. Within 3 hours, the movers were at my home unloading the POD.\r \r The movers were 2 of the greatest guys you'll ever meet. I felt as though I was hanging out with friends. They were amazing w/my 4 year old daughter as well as my father; extreme respect and professionalism. They worked quickly, efficiently, and carefully. I couldn't have been more pleased. I told them to stop by when they were in the neighborhood.\r \r From the first phone call to the final billing call, I felt as though I was dealing with friends. I have moved many times in the last several years.The best experience I've ever had is with Superior.They have moved me without any problems,they come on time and are professional and helpful during the stress of the move.I even had to change the moving date on short notice over a holiday weekend and they not only accomodated me with the men that I had requested,they do a great job.They are terrific.I recommen them to my co-workers ,and recently one used them with terrific results.\r IF YOU NEED TO MOVE-DON'T CALL ANYONE ELSE.\r THEY ARE THE BEST. more

I've used Superior twice, most recently on 5/16/10 (Joe, T-Bone and Antwan - great guys!). The first time was a move from Old City to Bensalem, and the most recent was from Bensalem to Drexel Hill.\r \r The owner (who remembered me from my first move) is awesome. I had the misfortune of using them a couple times. The first time most of my possessions were wrapped up and put in personal storage so I didn't get to see the damage immediately and actually couldn't bear to see it anyway after watching them drop my piano head first off the truck. Anyhow, my husband wanted to use them again because he was ""familiar"" with them. although I disagreed he went ahead and scheduled them for our most recent move. As you know moving is extremely stressful and most of us have a small window of time to conduct a move. Date and time were set well in advance. However, less than 48 hours before the move date, they call my husband to inform him that they couldn't move us because another customer that was apparently moving that way cancelled!!! Ok, how is that our problem? We are repeat customers and that's it? Well, didn't that leave us in a pickle? We ended up having to scramble and find another mover which with such short notice paid a premium and lots of $$$$. I didn't care for how they handled the first move. Anything of value was damaged in one form or another. Unfortunately nothing of DH was damaged so he had no problem trying them out again. Changed his tune this time around.
