Superior Moving & Storage

I surprised my husband and got him a pool table for his birthday. Unfortunately the place i bought it from didn't offer delivery. So i call a couple of place and Superior Moving was the lowest price i receieved to i decided to go with them and they were actually able to pick up the table quicker then the other companies. The three guys shoulded up on time as planed loaded the table up, delievered to my house and to my suprise even assebled it, i hadn't thought that they would do that i planned on my husband and his buddies to do that, but it make the present even sweeter. lol Just wanted to thank them guys they were great and i would highly recommended this company to anyone. I WAS SO PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVIECES ALL AROUND. more

Only had a few piece that needed to moved but these piece of furniture where very expensive. Guys were great, showed their experience and was very pleased with their services. Would recommend this company to anyone. more

I moved yesterday with Superior Moving and i very happy with their services. These guys were very professional, and very experienced. Guys showed up on time, very prompt, and the movers got right to work. These guys came highly recommended to me and now i know why and will comtinue to use them on some small moves that i have and i would also highly recommend them to anyone looking for movers. The guys showed up on time and got busy right away. The driver Chris told me respectfully to show them what they would be moving and then have a seat in kitchen. My wife was nervous as moving can be for people, and she kept getting up and making sure they were moving what they were suppose to and i kept tring to tell her just relax, these guys were great and this is why i kinda hired a mover to just sit back and relax, unfortunately my wife couldn't of done that no matter what. But very happy with company and the prices were great. Would definitely use this moving company again and refer them to anyone looking for movers. more

These guys moved my apartment from Center City to South Philly in under 4 hours. The only thing I really cared about was my paintings and artwork which they took great care of. I am so happy with my experience and would definitely recommend Superiro to anyone that needs to move. My move cost about $300 and the guys were so nice. Great job. more

I moved with Superior Moving and was very happy with their services. Men should up on time, very polite and respectful, great quality movers. This was my first time moving with them, the other company i have used in pasted went out of business and honestly i know why this company is still in business, great movers, low rates, and they are in and out by far quicker than the other company i previous used twice. Superior came out to load up 2 pods for me, and everything went extremely well. Gentlemen were polite, and very professional, they went above and beyond for, give me pointers, and explained why they packed the pods the way they did. As for my experience with them couldn't be happier and i would reccommend them, and i will be using them later to unload the pods for me. I used this company to transport my items from another state and they gave my furniture to a customer in another state. Since then they have ignored all of my calls and letters and refuse to reimburse me for the items they gave to some one else.\r \r I am deeply disappointed with the service they gave to me and I will never use them again. \r \r I don't beleive this company has any happy customers and the comments you see written in favor of them are written by the employees in their dirty looking office warehouse building. \r \r BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY, PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND INVESTIGATE THEM. Had Superior move me today and this company was great. Guys showed up on time, were very professional got right to work i couldn't of had a better first impression. Didn't have one issue with the move went very well. I'll never try to move with my family or hire another moving company again, good cheap movers. Highly Recommend them and they deserve six stars if i could give it to them. more

I called Superior after another mover changed the date they would deliver my furniture to a week later. We we happy that they could accommodate us. We gave them a very detailed list and was quoted one price. After the truck was loaded, I was told that I needed to pay an additional $450. I was still ok with that since the number of boxes was higher that what we had estimated. We moved from the Philadelphia suburbs to South Carolina. We took the insurance and the majority of our items arrived in good condition. Some china and the power washer were broken. You could tell from the box that it was dropped since the bottom was crushed. Also the power washer was in perfect condition and when it arrived, it was broken. I called and was told that I needed to write a letter detailing the damage. I did that two weeks ago and I am still waiting for the disposition. I was told that they might not be able to get anything from the insurance carrier because they did not know the condition of the power washer prior to shipment. Geez, I do not think anyone would argue that someone would not spend almost 3000 to move and pay that price to move a broken useless power washer. In addition, I was told that because we packed the china, there was no guarantee that the claim would be honored. What is the use of getting insurance if they will not honor it. Oh... and the best part, the truck arrives at our new home in Sc and they do not have the key to open the back of the truck. They had to go to a gas station and get a hack saw to open the back of the truck. The movers were very nice and polite, but I do have serious issues with the company and the handling of my insurance claim. I am awaiting the answer but for now I would not give this company more than a two star rating. All of the good was cancelled by the insurance issue. If you use these guys, move your valuables or breakable items in your own car and do not bother getting the insurance since they do not honor it. more

This is my second time moving with this company and i must say that they are an excellent moving company. I moved the first time with them 10 years ago, so i figured i would give them a call to see if they were still around and sure enought they were. I gave them all my information then i was asked if i wanted the same movers that i had when i moved 10 years ago i was completely shocked, i couldnt believe that i could get the same guys 10 years later at that point i was completely impressed with them. The same guys showed up on move i was just as impressed as when they moved me 10 years ago. All around great company, would recommend them to anyone looking for a good, honest, mover. I am so happy with Superior's performance. I needed a gun safe moved from the 1st floor to the basement. This thing is heavy!!! 3 of Superior's animals came to my house and moved the safe like it was a beachball. They were done in under a half-hour. I would recommend Superior solely on their knowledge and performance, but their price was great too!!! Thanks Superior. more

I needed furniture moved from Philadelphia to the Boston metro area, and hired Superior for the job. That was a great decision!! John B, and Robert G were the best. They are courteous, and professional ---they showed up to pick up the furniture on time, and arrived in Boston early (and I mean that in a good way---they moved the stuff into my house and let me get on with my day)!! The entire process went off without a hitch, and I can't say enough good things about these guys---friendly, helpful, careful how they carried things in, very helpful getting things ready for the truck in Philadelphia.....everything you'd put on a ""wish-list "" for movers. \r If you need to move, and you are in the area they serve,---call them! Superior is the best company if you need anything moved. I was getting new carpets put in my house so I needed Superior to move everything on my first floor up to my second floor and come out again to move my second floor to my first floor. They did this with ease and did not have a minimum. I used other companies for years and they always had minimums. I wish I would've known about Superior years ago. more

When I called to get a quote, I was told a very reasonable $70/hour. I had very little to move so i was told that my move would take an hour and a half. My new apt wasnt ready so i would put into their storage unit for 7days which would be included with rate.LIES LIES LIES! what they didnt inform me was , that howerver long it took to load the truck they would charge to unload it at their storage facilities. That means that it really is $140 an hour not the original quote of $70/hour. They charged me $300 and told me when they brought my stuff back it would be another $300.t They told me all this AFTER they loaded the truck! There was nothing for me to do but agree. I called the office and spoke to a man named Joe, who said that if my stuff is unloaded faster than the hour and a half he would give me refund or credit. Well after waiting for him to call me back ALL DAY, i called him. He informed me that my unload went over the hour and a half but he wasnt going to charge me the overage! DONT USE THESE GUYS!! Superior helped me move my belongings from my house into storage way back in April. I just had them move out of their storage into my new house last week and everything was perfect. My furniture looked the same it did the day they picked it up 7 months ago. The guys were so friendly and treated my children like their own. I will never use another company again. more

Superior moved a baby grand piano for me from my parents house to my house and these guys are great. Absolutley professional everything was padded and wrapped i so happy when i saw how they handled everytihng. If i ever move or am looking for a mover for anything i am absolutely going to give this company a call. Have nothing bad to say about this company at all. more

Superior Moving moved me within Center City and i was very pleased with their services. They were a couple of little delays with elevators and staff at my old building and honestly the movers handled it very well it didn't seem to slow them down a second. I was dreading my move in the worst way. I had a 4 bedroom house that I needed packed and moved. Superior packed me up on December 1st and moved me the next day. This was the easiest process and the guys were so nice. I can't believe it's all over and I'm settled in my new house. I can't say enought about the job Superior did. I will recommend Superior to anyone that needs to move. more
