Superior movers quoted me and my move for around 650 and I ended up paying over $1100!!!! They lost my television and I didn't get it back for an entire week. In order to get it back I had to call them every day multiple times a day. THey would pretend each time that they were going to call me back, but never would. They don't care about doing a good job, they just want to rob you. Movers are slow and lazy. Mark quoted good prices - that is how they pull you in; Repo and Mike (the movers) fought the entire time they were moving our furniture. Mike used profanity while DRAGGING my dining room table down the walkway and scratching it up on all sides! He was angry at the table for not staying on the dolly! Repo asked to use my car to carry a TV that didn't fit in his truck...I agreed; when he took the TV out of the car he tore the console and scraped the dashboard. Mark agreed to have Victor come out and fix both the dining room table and the car console and dash. That was a month ago! Since then, when I call (which is often) and ask for Mark - he is never available....wonder why??!! We will continue to call and call and call and I will publish many other scathing reviews about ""Superior Moving""....don't use this company - they are very unprofessional and disrespectful! Called company about a move from LI, NY to NJ and a quote was provided, move was done promply and service was excellent. Employees John and Dave were courteous, helpful and a pleasure to work with. \r \r Quote from President was fair and move was scheduled quickly. Their services were performed as expected. We used these guys years ago and it was a disaster. When they take your stuff to be stored, they fill out a form, listing what they are taking. They also make notes in their own kind of shorthand describing the furniture and IT'S CONDITION. People who are putting their stuff in storage MUST make them tell them what kind of condition they are noting on their forms. They wrote that our stuff was scratched, dented, old, damaged, etc., so that when they bring it to you damaged, they can say it was already damaged when they stored it. When I asked them what they were writing, I was told it was just notes they needed, nothing about the condition of the furniture, which was in very good condition before they got it. It's been over 20 years, we don't even HAVE that furniture anymore, and we are STILL furious at them for taking us for fools. more

AVOID!! This company has awful customer service. Owner (Mark) was immature and disrespectful. He canceled our reservation 2 days before our move then refused to come to the phone to speak with me directly about it. Scheduled my move with Joe. Two days before our move, our settlement time was changed and the sellers wouldn't allow early access to the house, so I called Inferior to ask if the movers start time could change. It took 4 calls and 15+ minutes on hold before I could speak with someone. Mark said the moving time couldn't change since they had another job after mine, but wouldn't say what that job's start time was. Mark suggested that the movers take a hour off for lunch, but that wouldn't resolve the issue. My husband spoke with him and was also told the start time couldn't change. My husband asked if they could give us 5 minutes to see if another moving company was able to start later. Mark suddenly announced that we were off the schedule and hung up. I immediately called back. Again it took several called and long minutes on hold before I could speak with someone. Asked to speak with Mark directly and was told he was on a ""teleconference"" and that he canceled our reservation since my husband told him to. That was simply not true. I explained that we were moving a household in 2 days, we still needed them to do the move and that I had simply called them to see if they could be flexible. Then was told that my husband asking if we could have 5 minutes to find another moving company is considered a threat. I explained that it wasn't meant that way; that we were trying to resolve the timing issue we had. Then was told that they had already booked another job in my time slot. Again I asked to speak with Mark directly and was told no. Finally I realized that I couldn't have my possessions handled by a company that treated their customers so poorly. I used Superior to help me move last week from a Trinity in Philadelphia. They helped make what was a difficult move(tight staircases and 90 degree heat) very easy. I had Juan and Carl and they were extremely efficient and professional. I plan on using them for my next move. Pros: Great price and very efficient more

I had the pleasure of using this company 3 weeks ago and I was very happy with the move. JR and Flash were my movers and i was very very happy with them. They worked their butts off to get the move done quickly. They didnt lounge around or take breaks. I would definitely use those 2 again. Mark and his staff are great. I have been an extremely satisified customer of Superior Moving for 6 years now. Within 6 years I have moved what WILL be 3 times and have used them every time. These guys JB and Flash were awesome! I was so worried about my things being broken using a mover, but they quickly set my fear to rest once they started moving us. They were fast and efficient, nice, and very professional. I wasn't shocked a bit when I unpacked and found that nothing was broken, and no furniture even had so much as a nick in it. I am so thankful to this company for making what could have been such a stressful day turn out to be a wonderful experience. I have to say that they are definitely the best priced around too! I was so pleased with this moving company! My new employer was willing to reimburse me for the move as a ""relocation fee"". To ensure this process went smoothly, Mark and his movers (Bobby and JB) bent over backwards to make my move happen in just over half of the time of the original estimate, which brought the cost down significantly! In addition, when the building I was moving out of had an unannounced emergency on my move day which brought in tons of pumbing equipment that blocked the freight elevator and loading zone, the guys rescheduled for early the next morning and didn't even charge me a cancellation fee like most companies will do. They really tried hard to make sure I was satisfied and to be concientious of my budget as a student. Also, they were very personable and as a single women working with these men all by myself, I can honestly say they never made me feel the least bit uncomfortable. I am very pleased with the services provided to me by Superior and would recommend them to my friends! Pros: Speed, professionalism, kindness. Cons: They ran a little bit late to start. more

I don't know who is writing the negative reviews but Mark and his staff were very professional in their dealings with us at Habitat for Humanity. They worked with us on a 6 month project and couldn't have been more reliable, trustworthy and flexible. We look forward to working with them for many of our future projects in the city and out. So sorry for the long over due review of this ""Superior "" moving company. I work at a local retirement community here in the northeast, and all of our new residents have utilized Superior as their movers, and highly recommend them to all of thier friends. I can honestly say that I personally have never seen such professionalism, and care of our seniors. The gentlemen that have come through this building have been kind, courteous , and so professional there is no comparison. If I had to recommend a mover to anyone it most certainly would be Superior as they most certainly are what their name is! I have to say as a human being that some of the other reviews that I have read here on this site are appauling!! I certainly can not speak for others, but I can speak on what I have witnessed, and that is nothing short of professionalism, honestly, respect and an overall wonderful experience for the seniors of this community. Note: For every bogus ""bad review "" that you read please be aware that their are 20 good ones right behind it. (That should speak volumes in itself!) Most of the reviews I have read are based on their moving company. Their storage facility is dispicable. I had my things in there for years and they had a pipe burst and didn't notify me, moved my things and just threw it in another unit and broke and damaged most of my things. There were several pieces of furniture missing and the unit was full of rodents(at least 100). My son came down with me and they didn't like what he had to say and 4 guys were going to jump him and fight him! I paid thousands of dollars and 80% of my things were ruined. When moving, I ran into another couple who had the same problem. And they had furniture missing too. My things looked like an employee rummaged through it and took what they wanted. These guys should be shut down! If you value your belongings ---- DON'T STORE THEM HERE.... THESE GUYS DON'T GIVE A SH__T! Obviously they only care about their moving part of the business.... I manage a furniture store in Warrington, PA and I use Superior Moving for all of my home deliveries. I have been with my company for almost 10 years and have tried many different companies for my customers. I have never been as satisfied or relaxed as I am when Conway and Mike take my furniture. Whenever I need to call the office to arrange a delivery or get a quote Mark is more than courteous and goes out of his way to make me happy. I have never dealt with a company where the owner personally calls me periodically just to make sure that I'm happy and that my customers are pleased. Managing an upscale store can be stressful but Superior takes away any fears I may have when it comes to the happiness of my customers. Each of my customers have been extremely happy with the service from these great movers. Conway and Mike, you guys are the best!! They called my daughter the day before to confirm details. Came on time with appropriate supplies. Two movers were polite and worked at a consistant pace. Estimate was very close based on my honest input. My brother used them before and was clearly satisfied.l was impressed with Mark, the owner, who helped to calm my fears (previous bad experiences). He also accepted my out of state personal check ! Could not have been better. Highly recommended. P.S.
