Okay, here's the deal. I was just cruising my favorite spots on the web when I came across a couple bad reviews of Sine (BTW, that's what the cool kids are calling it these days). Alright, I can accept a few people that aren't pleased with their service; it's not a science, it's an art, people. I ALWAYS take bad reviews with a grain of salt and see them as isolated incidents. Anyone and his grandfather can post a review on this website and who's to say that they aren't jealous competitors (or, in a positive case, employees)? The fact that no one seems to remember the name of the person that ""ruined"" their hair seems suspect. Beside that point, I have been going to SQN for 3 years and despite the fact that I have no complaints, I know for a fact that if I did, it would be taken care of promptly and without attitude. I, personally, allow my stylist, Ken, to do what he feels is appropriate and I know that if I am not happy with it, for whatever reason, he will make himself available at any time to ammend the situation. I could not be happier. One caviat, however: the name ""Sine Qua Non"" makes them sound a lot more snobby than they actually are. You will not find the stereotypical ""DIVA"" here. If that's what you want, go back downtown.
Pros: Friendly, reasonable pricing
Cons: hard to get appointments around my schedule
