Review content:
I'm new to Chicago and I have curly hair. I'd just had a cut at another salon, which didn't turn out very nice at all so I decided to try another salon for colour. I chose to go to Sine Qua Non after reading reviews. I must admit I was 30 minutes late for the appointment as I had mixed up the time (I'm pregnant and I get brain freezes!), but the stylist I was scheduled with said it was no problem. He recommended a demi-permanent colour, which I had had before since it's better for curly hair and it had turned out very nice. I had highlights and grey hair that I wanted covered, and he said that the demi-permanent colour would blend everything in. \r
I didn't see my colour until I got home because the stylist wasn't able to style my hair! I looked as if I had put my fingers up an electrical plug! He sais next time, to go see another stylist as he wasn't good with curly hair, then charged me the full price anyway! When I got to see the colour, it was much darker than what we had discussed. But after each shampoo (and I only shampoo every 3-4 days), it statred fading so much that my grey hair and blonde highlights satrted showing through after only 3 weeks. It's been 5 weeks now and I look as if I never had a colour done.
