Sheba is a wonderful hairdresser. She does great cleanup if you've had a hairdresser who didn't evenly cut your hair, and she is artful with color. I also love the salon itself. When it's time to shampoo and rinse, you'll get a wonderful scalp massage as well. Ask them for new customer specials! Super Fab 10/12/2002

I was so impressed with the atmosphere, relaxed, yet modern, the creative stylists and hair cuts walking out the door, and super friendly staff. I felt very comfortable. The front desk was so accomodating, getting me in for my haircut and massage. What a great experience! Pros: great hair cutters, superb atmosphere, Fun yet relaxed more

Va va voom 9/12/2002

What girl doesnt long for a stylist that understood what they want? Well, I found the salon and stylist. Stevie. She is a DREAM. Great personality, really good with cuts and color. She knows exactly my personality and what works for me. She was even able to tame my Mother in Law's Marge Simpson hair for my wedding. Sometimes it can be difficult to get in with Stevie. You definitely need about a two week window for weekends. You can usually get in to see her during the week with no problem. She is worth the extra time needed to book an appointment with! Parking can be a chore, especially on weekends, but the salon is easily accessible from public transportation. The salon also has yummy Aveda tea and most of the time has bagels or something else to nosh on while you are there. Pros: great service Cons: bad parking, a little too pricey more

I've bounced around every salon in the city until I found this one. Very friendly staff and Sam is the best stylist! I highly recommend trying it. more

I have found the best service and stylists at Sine Qua Non. But don't everyone go at once! I want to be able to make my appointment when I need it! :) more
