Snyder works weekends and holidays! I hate that people have to work on these days, however in FL with no AC on a HOT and humid summer night, it is impossible to sleep and then I have to work the next day (this is not good for anyone!). Always available and friendly and never pushy just doing the job that needs to be done! I trust this company and recommend highly. In 2005 I had Snyder put in a brand new unit at a cost of over $3,000. In 2011 my compressor went bad. It had an 8 year warranty. The service man came and checked the system out and said I needed a new compressor, a condenser fan motor and the evaporator coil cleaned. The compressor under warranty was going to cost me $750. The condenser motor was $419 and cleaning the evap coil was going to be $500. So for a grand total of $1,669 they could get me up and running. WOW. What kind of warranty is this??? I declined the work and called a friend. He came over and showed me how to clean the coil myself. Which I did (it wasn't that dirty) Another friend came over to check the condenser fan motor and discovered it was wired incorrectly (on purpose so it would not run). He wired it correctly and it ran and sounded normal. I called another friend (who works for a competing A/C company) and he took my bad compressor and came back with a brand new one and installed it and charged my system for $400. The compressor was warranted by the manufacturer, not Snyder. My A/C is still working perfectly after over 3 years with the same condenser motor. I saved myself almost $1,300 by NOT letting them do warranty work on my unit. These people with 4 and 5 star reviews must be family, friends or ignorant. more

They do routine maintenance for my heating and air conditioning units and are always on time and keep my house extremely clean during and after the job. Snyder Heating and Air Conditioning did a regular service just recently for me in getting ready for summer. It had been a while since I've had my two units checked and lubricated. Snyder's always on time and seem to know what they're doing. The first time I contacted Snyder was because my Home Owner's Insurance sent one company that wanted to charge me thousands for a repair job. It took Snyder only a couple of minutes to locate a clog that the other company wanted to rip up my floors over. I paid for Snyder out of pocket and I don't use them regularly because they are more expensive. Also, the only other negative I could say about them is that they always try to upsell which I understand is just business. They also call once a month to ask if I need service done. more

This was my first experience purchasing an air conditioner from Snyder Heating and Air. The salesman that came out was very personable, forthright, and very nice. He didn't try to sell me anything extra, so I put in an order. The price, delivery, and setup was good. They followed up with us to make sure everything was right. Their company has been in business for 30 or 40 years, and that's why we're not sorry we chose them. more

We have happily been using Snyder Heating and Air Conditioning for 15 years. Recently, our air conditioning was not pushing our cold air. It was a very hot day so I called in with a crisis. They told me that they would be there within two hours but arrived within an hour and a half. Within 20 minutes we had cool air again. We have already referred many people to them over the years. Their customer service is the best in town. It has been a terrific experience. more

Compared to the other companies here in Jacksonville, Snyder Heating and Air Conditioning are on time for their appointments and don't cancel them at the last minute. I needed a new air compressor unit about four or five years ago during the summer. They were here the next morning and had it installed for me so I just felt that was excellent. They also got me a local electrician to install a new electrical box for the compressor unit. I didn't have to wait on that at all. I've been using Snyder for ten years now to service my unit twice a year and I haven't had any problems with it since the compressor was put in. more

I have been using Snyder Heating and Air Conditioning for five years. I have had them work on several projects. The installed a brand new system, redid some duct work in my attic and added return vents. They do all of the maintenance on three of my properties. I have them come out twice a year. I continue to use them because they do a good job and are reasonably priced. Typically I request that Kenny come out. He does quality work and is a very nice guy. Amanda in the office also provides excellent customer service. more

I've got a heat pump within my condo unit, and when I first called Snyder Heating and Air Conditioning in, they completely serviced the whole unit from top to bottom. They checked everything and gave me a reasonable monthly rate for two service calls a year. The work turned out excellent. In terms of their service, they call prior to just before getting to your unit and they coordinate everything. I've had problems with other AC and heating companies and they don't come up to the quality of Snyder's. more
