Review content:
In 2005 I had Snyder put in a brand new unit at a cost of over $3,000. In 2011 my compressor went bad. It had an 8 year warranty. The service man came and checked the system out and said I needed a new compressor, a condenser fan motor and the evaporator coil cleaned. The compressor under warranty was going to cost me $750. The condenser motor was $419 and cleaning the evap coil was going to be $500. So for a grand total of $1,669 they could get me up and running. WOW. What kind of warranty is this??? I declined the work and called a friend. He came over and showed me how to clean the coil myself. Which I did (it wasn't that dirty) Another friend came over to check the condenser fan motor and discovered it was wired incorrectly (on purpose so it would not run). He wired it correctly and it ran and sounded normal. I called another friend (who works for a competing A/C company) and he took my bad compressor and came back with a brand new one and installed it and charged my system for $400. The compressor was warranted by the manufacturer, not Snyder. My A/C is still working perfectly after over 3 years with the same condenser motor. I saved myself almost $1,300 by NOT letting them do warranty work on my unit. These people with 4 and 5 star reviews must be family, friends or ignorant.
