I would without a doubt recommend Nexcess to any of my clients that need utilize an e-commerce platform. The price you pay is almost too low in terms of quality, customer service, and support. Any dealing with support is met promptly and thoroughly. They truly go above and beyond the scope of their support. They moved our entire site for us, and then in turn helped us with a few nagging problems - though some of them weren't covered by their "support" they still worked hard at determining what the problem is. With a lot of companies you don't find this type of commitment, but Nexcess brings it to the table with their experts. If you are thinking about a hosting provider especially for an e-commerce platform like Magento save yourself the time and the hassle and hire them. We tried self-hosting at first, and there was a ton of problems. I don't know how they make this platform work so well, and secure it so perfectly but I can only assume it's some form of geek magic. more

Nexcess.net has been the BEST decision I have made for my e-Commerce store. They have provided amazing support and extremely reliable and speedy hosting. I just wanted to thank your entire support team for being on top of it. I haven't done much internet code work since CSS came out and the support team is always very helpful and responsive to the issues I run into. Personally I don't mind paying extra for this kind of service, it's one of the reasons we choose your company for hosting. more

Outstanding, beyond duty support service 2/13/2012

I hired this service because of the good experience of a friend. He recomended this service because of its reliabilty, fair cost and customer service. When I hired them I had a technical problem that it was not definitely under the duties of Nexcess. Despite that, they gladly assited me in a very fast and efficient way, and solving the problem I had in less than 36 hours. It saved my job, btw and the message was loud and clear: they actually LISTEN to the customer's needs and they give you solutions, not excuses. This guys ROCK. Absolutely. I cannot find enough good words to speak about them. more

We've had nothing but great uptime and excellent customer service from Nexcess. Since we are on the West Coast we frequently find we have a quick question or need a password reset at 11pm or later... No problem, there is always someone available to help and questions are answered and issues resolved in minutes. Switched to Nexcess recently and could not be happier. Their pricing is very fair and their customer service is top notch. Phone calls are handled right away with no wait times, and their ticket handling through email is very efficient. They take the time to diagnose your problems and get things fixed as quick as they can. They even spent time diagnosing problems with my website that was not even a direct problem with their company. Service also works great, and any time email goes down (rarely) its back up before I can even reach out to them. Online control panel is very easy to manage, and they moved our entire account over for us. more

While I wish these guys had live chat service for tech support, I understand how labor intensive that becomes with the customer on the line. The email support has been very responsive and efficient - they typically solve any issue between 30 minutes to an hour or two. Very outstanding. Our Magento site has been loading pages very quickly since we moved from an over-priced local company who sometimes took weeks just to get back to us to say "we're looking into it, sorry my wife blah blah blah." It's great to be working with courteous professionals. more

The best hosting company by miles 1/13/2012

I have broad experience of hosting companies and I usually go through some degree of pain with each, ranging from the mildly irritating to thoughts of suicide. When I came across and signed up with Nexcess I didn't know much about them and prepared myself for some more pain. But nothing can be further from the truth. Quite simply, this is the case: All support staff are knowledgeable, patient, and as helpful as can be. They go out of their way to help and, often, they assist me with items beyond the scope of my contract. Very often when you are dealing with support staff with any organisation you get to know who is good and who is the weakest link - and your heart sinks when you get a response from the weakest link. Nexcess have no weak links. All of their team are right up to speed and produce a superb support system across the board. They make my life SO much easier. The servers they use are up ALL the time 99.99999999% at least. They run quickly, never have unscheduled downtime, are reliable and run like a dream. The cost of their packages is amazingly low for all you get. There is nothing bad I can say about Nexcess and I could go on for hours about how good they are. Fairly new customer - Very happy with servers and service 1/10/2012

I am extremely satisfied with the support and service I receive with Nexcess, their support group is very knowledgeable and quick to answer your questions. They almost always go above and beyond when support is needed. I moved here from Host-Gator and if you are running a Magento shop these servers and hosting plans beat them hands down, no question. The only real problem I have with Nexcess is they do not offer chat support, for production problems they should offer a chat support service, otherwise you are waiting for a response from email which can (at times) be very frustrating when your production system is down or having problems. This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 because when it hits the fan and you need someone now and here all you have is email support. Other than that 1 issue I cannot say enough good things about Nexcess, I very glad I decided to move here, my stores have never run better, their servers are fast and their support team can't be beat. I would highly recommend them especially if you are a Magento shop. more
