Need to explain! 10/21/2011

I went here last week because I needed some clothes for a job interview. I first need to explain that I absolutely hate shopping for clothes. I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy, with no real sense of style. Whenever I try to shop for clothes, I usually get overwhelmed by the choices, frustrated that nothing fits me well, and leave empty handed.\r \r The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a very helpful salesman. He basically knew right off the bat what size would work on me, and showed me some combination that looked sharp . When I explained to him my price range, he was very willing to work with me to get what I needed. \r \r I had to get my sport coat tapered at the waist and my slacks hemmed. It was about 5 o'clock, and when I told him my interview was the next morning, he told me no problem - come back in TWO HOURS before they closed! That's what I consider exceptional customer service. When I returned, the suit fit like a charm, and I looked great the next day. Now if I could only more

Best Suits store in Los Angeles 10/18/2011

+1 for good prices +1 for fast turnaround on tailoring (a little less than a week) +1 for Vince helping me pick out a great suit I went into the store and told what I wanted: ""An interview/business appropriate suit that also showed a little bit of style and edge."" Salesman recommended a great suit. I've never seen a similar suit at any business function I've attended. Thanks! more

COMPLETELY NEGLIGENT AND DISORGANZIED 10/14/2011

I ordered a suit to be shipped overnight and paid $50 for overnight shipping. They shipped it ground instead. The next day I had to order another one to be shipped overnight because I needed it for a deadline. They messed that one up too! I even called twice to confirm and they still shipped the 2nd package via UPS ground and charged me again. Completely irresponsible and disorganized. Did do anything to make the situation right! Total waste of time! DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! more

Happily suprised 10/12/2011

I had ordered a zoot suit from this company. After ordering, i got curious and read some reviews. Needless to say, I was mortified! However, I was happily suprised. I ordered it on a Friday at 11pm, it was shipped the following Monday, and I recieved it that Wednesday. It was the right suit and the right size. I had no problems at all. The only thing that I had to do afterwards was have a tailor take out the waist an inch and hem the bottom of my pantlegs. Most of the negative comments I have read are from people complaining about the authenticity of the suits and saying that they are not Italian. I am not an expert but this seems to be the real thing. However I may be wrong. My opinion is that if your complaing about a 2 or 300 dollar suit not being Italian, then you have obviously never bought an Italian made suit. They are norally between the 1500 to 3000 dollar area. You get what you pay for. I was satisfied with the quality, service, and timely fashion that I recieved my oder. more

Fraudulent company. Should be banned. 7/14/2011

I should have read these reviews before placing my order. I live in Europe and ordered a suit and heard nothing for 2 months. Delivery to Europe can take time and processing through customs can add to that but this was too long. E-mailed Mensusa and they hadn't sent anything. They said that the suit was sold out even though it was still available on their website. I was offered the choice of an alternative but after that they were silent again. The result is that they have $250 of my money and I have nothing. Surprised to see that all positive reviews here are written by people who aren't native English speakers. Makes me wonder if they are not from the company itself. My first contact was however with a representative named Matthew Neavill so I do have a name to write on the reports and claims I am now processing. more

Made our wedding a breeze. Angelino and his expert staff are both knowledgeable and courteous. Gave us the royal treatment without the high prices. We highly recommend these guys, great experience, you will not be disappointed. more

We ordered three suits from them and only received one. When I called to find out why the male who answered the phone put me on hold for 10 minutes, then hung up. I called back and got a female who claimed she was ""the manager"" and insisted I call back because their system was down. I asked her if she could call me back and she said no! I called back again and she said she didn't know ""why the warehouse didn't send all three so I needed to call back the next day at 1"" at this point I was very angry and felt ripped off. I called back the next day and could not get ""her"" on the phone the guy said the suits were ""out of stock"" and they would mail them when they came in. I received them over a week later. The customer service for this company is awful! more

Not timely shipping 5/18/2011

I ordered my son's suit on May 11. The website said three day shipping upgrade, so I felt comfortable that there was enough time for the suit to get here before his prom on May 21. On May 14, I called because I had not received any information about shipping. I was told that we should receive the suit by May 17. Soon after I received a UPS Quantum email saying that they UPS label had been issued. May 17, they was no indication of any UPS activity, and we had not received the suit. May 18, I was told that they had probably not closed the account out in the computer and that the suit was probably in route. I really wish I had read these reviews before ordering. My son may not have anything to wear to the prom if they do not hurry up and ship the suit. I only live 3 hours from LA. It should not take that long. more

Horrible Customer Service 4/14/2011

Ordered one suit on March 26th and still have not received it THREE WEEKS later. Their customer service is the worse. I have called and written them asking for a tracking number to find some clue as to when or if my suit has even been sent out. Of course no response. Tried calling several times, finally get through to someone and he tells me the suit has been shipped and I WILL receive it Monday, April 11th. Guess what April 14th and still NO SUIT. I've learned my lesson and will never order again from these guys. Can get the same suits at an even lower price at AHA fashions-I think also out of LA. THey only take three to four days to ship. more

very unpleasant experience when returning 1/7/2011

I ordered an overcoat for my husband for Christmas- cashmere and wool for $259- I should have known that for that price I wouldn't get any quality. It arrived in two days, with no paperwork inside, and the lining had threads hanging etc. It was supposed to be 44 Tall and it didn't even fit- the sleeves were short. I emailed as the site suggested to do for a return and got an email back a day later instructing me to write name address item and size requested and send it back. I called the contact # twice and left a message since the quality wasn't good, and the sizing didn't appear to accomodate my husband although there is a vast sizing chart on the website. No one called and no one emailed again, so I sent it back with a note (had to pay $25 to return it and sent it certified and insured) and got the return receipt card back with a signature, no printed name and no date on it! I called again today and actually got 'Johny' with an Indian accent who said he would refund the amount of the purchase within 3 business days. When I asked about the refund for shipping (which the website clearly states if the quality or item is not as it should be) , he said they don't do that. When I asked why no one had returned my two long distance calls on Dec 28, or responded to my request for a return authorization (also on the site) , he said ""I don't know"" and 'we don't do return authorizations'. When I mentioned the 100% guarantee on the website, he said he could only refund the purchase price and not the shipping (although the website states that they do. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone, although they must do quite a business. more

They SUCK!!! 11/10/2010

I ordered two shirts online, they took two week to ship, I'm from Los Angeles, and the shirts ship from Los Angeles. I ordered some stuff on Amazon took about 3 days. Now when I called to ask them for a tracking number they kept putting me on hold. When the shirts finally arrived one shirt was the wrong color and size, the other was just wrong size. For expense shirts and clothes they should have better customer care and smooth business. I would not recommend this company to anyone!! more

Thanks For The Heads Up, Everyone! 9/28/2010

I was all set to place an order (I already had it in my cart), but then I decided to see what kind of feedback there was on this outfit. I can't say why, but something about the About Us description didn't seem quite right. The company says it's headquartered in Italy and the USA, but they don't say where their clothes come from. My guess is that it's more of that awful Chinese crap that falls apart after a few wearings. After seeing all of the one star ratings I decided to back out and abandon my order. Maybe I was wrong, but better safe than sorry. more
