Main line cleanout 4/3/2014

I had a minor sewer line back up and called another plumber prior to Dr. Fix-it (who told me the next day). Dr Fix-it came out the same day and very professionally cleaned the drain. Detlef carefully covered my rugs and stairs as well as protecting material on the shelves near the main drain. I(I had seen reviews with this being an issue) When the drain was cleared and equipment back in the truck, you could not see that anyone had done such a messy job. I didn't have do do any clean up!. Everyone was polite and careful. I'll be using again. more

Fast, Professional, Affordable, and Friendly! 4/2/2014

When we woke up to a cold shower, I went downstairs and discovered an inch of standing water right next to the heater and floor drain. Immediately called Doctor Fix-It and they had Detlef out in in just a few hours. Can't say enough how professional and courteous Detlef is. He quickly assessed the problem (clogged main), explained exactly what needed to be done and got to work. Within an hour the clog was cleared and water was drained. It seems that customer service is a lost art... many companies just come out and get to work with no personality. The crew at Doctor Fix-It bring customer service back to business. Won't even think about calling another company for any plumbing or heating issue! more

Very Knowledgeable Service Specialist 4/1/2014

Overall, I was pleased with Drilon's professionalism and sense of humor. He did a great job of telling me what were my options and explaining the process of removal and installing a new hot water heater. This was welcomed, since I was not expecting to replace such an important appliance at a moment's notice. more

Very happy outcome 3/24/2014

I was super happy with this experience! I had called another plumber several times with no response - these folks called me right back and I got an appointment the same day. The service person who helped me was Russ - he was on time, very nice and very professional. It's fixed! And I even had a coupon! I will definitely call them next time I have a plumbing problem, and I will definitely recommend them. Whew! So happy to have this fixed! more

Drain clearing 3/20/2014

Detlef was very courteous and got right to work. He seemed knowledgable and diligent. It would have been great, however, if, while he was cleaning up his equipment, he had cleaned up the gunk that came out of the drain when it overflowed. Somehow I missed that and discovered it still in the sink when I got home from work - starting to smell. But, the drain is clear, and I can run my dishwasher - yay! more

Absolutely amazing job 3/18/2014

Can't say enough good about Justin and the work done. Had an overhead light/fan installed, and he troubleshot two additional wall switches/dimmers for track lighting that had a hidden switch. The work was extremely clean, neat and professional. Justin really went the extra mile to understand what I wanted out of the project and went above and beyond to figure out how we could make it happen. He did the work while I was out of town, and coming home to a well-lit and nicely connected home was an amazing feeling. Pricing was extremely reasonable for the extent of the work done, and I've recommended him to a few friends looking to have work done. I've used this company for plumbing work also, and was equally impressed by the professionalism and investment in the project by the technicians involved. Very very happy customer; thank you!!! more

He explained everthing that was going on with the service, which is more important that most people think. If I did not understand he found good analogies to make his point so I would understand. He was professional, polite, courteous, and very nice. He worked quickly and efficiently. He ensured that the drain was properly working before he left. (There was still blockage after the first snaking.) He even waited as the washing machine filled (to gauge pipes were clear.) He told me to ask for him if it happens to block up again soon (I do not expect this, but I liked the fact he wanted to follow the job/task to satisfaction of the client). more

Great plumbing technician 3/9/2014

Every toilet plugged up! Called Dr. Fix-it and Russ was dispatched to us. He was polite and friendly. He assessed our situation and discussed what he thought the plan would be and also the worst case scenario. He answered all questions succinctly and did not waste any time making repairs. Toilet Rebuild 3/7/2014

Drilon Job #239541 ......Drilon was very thorough with the inspection of my toilet. He explained what the problem was and also due to the age of the toilet he recommended that it should be replace. Financially I was not able to replace it. As a result he did a toilet rebuild and did an excellent job.
