Wow, we have survived our Foundation Repair! Having said that, I am sure it was because of the crew that Church Services sent to do it. The foreman on the job and his men showed...

Worst

I used this service once before, I'm now recalling them back for the second time for a job that seems to happening again. This seems like a nightmare to me I have been HOT all day...

Zack Guerra from Church Services did a fast and great job analyzing and resolving why none of the outlets on my kitchen isle were not working. Zack was very professional, courteous and was willing to answer all of my questions. I was very pleased with the service provided. If we run into electrical issues in the future will call on Church Services again. more

DON'T USE CHURCH SERVICES!! Called out Church services to fix a/c. We discovered it was time to replace our old unit but it could not be replaced until the next day. Its August in Houston; very hot! I asked 3 times if they were going to leave portable a/cs or recharge the old a/c so the house was livable overnight. the tech said ""sure of course we will not leave you in a hot house"". The tech later left without telling us or charging the A/C. The finance guy showed up so we could purchase the A/C and install it the next day. He was difficult at best. anyway, he knew nothing about charging the A/C or portable units being brought in. I asked several times regarding this and was ignored. After many calls we finally got the tech back out at 7:00 that night to charge the a/c Next day Church Services came and got the new unit installed. It was hot but uneventful. 3 days later the A/C is out again. The tech and company are thus far unwilling to make it right or bring portable units. We spent 9,200 K and still no A/C its 89 degrees in my house and my Houston SPCA foster kittens are overheating. Thank you Church Services!\r Later it was discovered the filter to keep the debris out of the A/c was installed incorrectly. It was installed outside with the unit instead of in the attic as it should have been. It caused the A/C to freeze up and the compressor to almost burn out. That means the installation crew did not know what they were doing and were incompetent.\r \r 8/16 - A/C still out. they said it was the expansion valve. Yet one more hot night after spending all this money. They still can't fix it or figure out what is wrong. We have a brand new 16 SEER AC and they STILL can't make it work! Its 88 degrees in the house right now.... more

Church Services has been maintaini9ng our A/C for over a year, today we needed both electrical and plumbing help (replaced two toilets) and as always they did a really great job. Ca't say enough good things about the technicians they have working, but if you need A/C repair ask for Greg, electrical ask for Jeremy and plumbing ask for Robert and you will be in fine shape more

The services provided yesterday by Johnny Landers of Church Services was superb. He was professional, efficient and very friendly. He explained what would be done and confirmed the price before starting the work. I have found a company I trust and will only be calling you guys from now on for all my home repair needs. And please tell Johnny that my daughter found a job yesterday. He will know what that means. lol more

Work done in our home June 9, 2014, cost $460 :1) replaced trim, hardware and faucets in bathtub, and 2) ran a gas line from attic to living room fireplace. Employee arrived within designated time frame, had business card identifying him as Journeyman Plumber, was polite, knowledgeable and professional. Walked the house with us to review interior and exterior issues and gave practical advice. Began work at 11am and finished at 2:30pm. We needed pipe for the gas line, and he went to purchase for us at Home Depot. Superb experience. more

On 2/14/2014, I had a leak from the upstairs bathroom that caused ceiling drywall to collapse on the first floor. Contacted Church Services who arranged for one of their plumbers to come out later that afternoon. Upon arrival, Johnny the plumber was great. He performed a quick, but professional evaluation of the leak area and the upstairs bathroom. He then said that this was something I could probably fix myself, but if I still wanted him to do it, he provided a reasonable quote for the work. It was indeed something that I could do (and did fix myself later that evening) myself quite inexpensively, so I thanked him profusely for pointing out the issue and the solution.\r \r Even better, as a first time customer, I was given a credit that essentially waived the fee for having a serviceman come out. Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend Church Services to others. In fact, I have a clogged drain now and will be contacting them (hope that they send Johnny out again) to have it unclogged. more

On my way to work this morning, I saw that my main line had busted over the night and it is leaking water all over my lawn. Called Church Services in the morning to see if they can get someone out to my house this afternoon. The appointment process was quick and they even give me a call before the plumber shows up.\r \r Johnny was very professional. He saw where the leak was coming from and got right down to the business. No messing around at all. I was so confident with his demeanor that I went back into the house and continue to do what I was doing. Once the work was finished, we did a walk through and he explain to me the problem and recommended other solutions for the future. No pushy sales at all. All his recommendations were right on point and made a lot of sense. \r \r You get what you pay for and I have to say, the bill was very reasonable. I have to thank Johnny L and Church Services for making this entire process a great experience.\r \r 2/12/14 more

A few weeks ago we were having trouble with our heater and after getting the run around from another company decided to call Church Services. An appointment was made and actually quicker than expected. The technician that showed up was friendly and knowledgeable. We like to hover when someone works in our home and this is not always appreciated but this technician was wonderful. All of our questions regarding the work were answered and the need for the services where explained. We were super impressed with the overall work and service and will keep the phone number for Church Services close by and use them forour future repair needs. I highly recommend their services. more

I used Church Services for my plumbing repar, and I couldn't have been more pleased. They did about 6 jobs for me, but only charged me for the two major ones. The plumber didn't have the parts to complete one of the repairs and had to come back later, and he scheduled it at an extremely convenient time for me. The plumber was polite, kind, arrived on schedule, easily fixed all my problems, and was great in every way! I would use them anytime for anything! more

I want to give kudos to church services AC, I requested they come out early because I had things to do, they called before showing up and prompty arrived right at 8am. I appreciate this very much as it shows they care. my time is valuable. The technician was super friendly and informative, and did a fantastic job plus wasted no time. I highly recommend their services, they are friendly, on time and efficient and finally gave me a discount which saved me $200. Thank you kindly. more

A couple years ago, Church Services installed a new water heater for our 6 condo complex in the Montrose area. We started having some problems recently with hot water reaching all the units in all the sinks and showers. So we called them to come out and check the situation . And even though our warranty had expired, they replaced the pipes and installed a new recirculating pump and did not charge any labor. We only had to pay for the new pump!\r They took care of it in 24 hours and we are all happily getting hot water wherever we want it. Thanks, Ken Faust, plumbing manager for your great service. more

We've used Church Services several times and we've always been pleased with the result. Our most recent experience occurred during the recent cold snap when our furnace couldn't seem to bring the inside temp any higher that 66 degrees. We were afraid the system wouldn't be able to keep it even that warm with the overnight temperature expected to go into the 20's. Our big worry was the possibility of frozen water pipes. But one call to Church and help was on the way. Raj checked the system, determined the problem and made a temporary repair to get us through the night. He returned the following day with new parts and returned the system to perfect working order. Thanks Raj! You were great. more

I have been a customer of Church Services for a few years now and I couldn’t let this opportunity pass by without giving recognition to a couple of technicians by the name of Everald and Jimmie who came out and serviced my AC & Heating unit. They arrived to my home in a timely fashion and did a fantastic job. Both are very knowledgeable in their field and were eager to help answer any question that I had as it pertained to my AC & Heating unit. They are friendly as well as professional and I feel they are a great asset to Church Services. I want to thank both of them for doing an outstanding job. The office staff has always been courteous as well, when scheduling and calling me in advance of the tech’s arrival so I will be home. In my opinion, Church Services is the best when it comes to your home maintenance needs. I would highly recommend them as the best 1 stop shop for all you’re A/C Heating, Electrical, Foundation Repair, Pest Control and Plumbing needs. I have used Church Services for at least the last 20 years and do not have any complaints. They are my go-to company when I need plumbing and Heating/AC maintenance and repair work done around my house. Their service people are thorough, helpful and informative. Joe came out today to do my semi-annual Heater/AC check-up. He was on time, professional, pleasant and gave me some important money saving tips for my unit that I greatly appreciated. I am grateful to have them as a resource here in Houston. more

We have been customers of Church Services for many years, however; this is the 1st time I have taken the time to write a review on their company. Unfortunately, I think people get so busy that they forget to recommend the ""Professional and Efficiency"" of companies that do the above and beyond in customer services. Their employees are very qualified in their fields & professional wih their customers. They have always been very prompt in their appointment scheduling with us, calling us before the technician arrives and checking afterwards to see if the service was completed to our expectations. We installed a new Air Conditioning/Heating system several years ago and they were just awesome bringing out an entire crew to complete the job in record time. We then had installation of new air ducts in the attic. We have used Church Services for plumbing and electrical services as well. Their office staff is always prompt in calling to remind us that we have a pre-paid AC/Furnace inspection due... Carl came out last week for our annual Furnance inspection and was a very thorough and professional . We highly recommend Church Services. more

Having previously used Church for plumbing, and was VERY pleased with their service, as well as the costs, I called them again for electrical help in preparing that same property for re-sale. The person who reviewed the work to be done and provided the quote, was the same person who would return to do the actual work. His name was Jose. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly, and I was very pleased with the entire process which covered about 3 days, as they were willing to work with my schedule along with the city having to pull meter and then re-connect after having my electrical panel updated. The office staff has always been courteous as well, when scheduling and calling me in advance of the tech's arrival so I could meet him there. I highly recommend Church Services, and you should be especially pleased if you get Jose for electrical issues, or Charles Williams for plumbing issues. This electrical job was at the end of May, and the plumbing job was mid-February. - DJ more

I attempted to change a light bulb in a fixture above our stairs approximately 25' straight up. The glass part of the bulb separated from the metal portion and left the metal in the fixture. It was hopelessly stuck for an amateur.\r \r I called Church Services. They dispatched Jose O. to the rescue. He managed to position a 28' extension ladder perpendicular to the staircase from the ground floor to access the fixture... and took special care not to damage the walls during the process. Very ingenious! It took a good 15 minutes of persistence at the top of the ladder just to extract the metal portion.\r \r I have done business with Church Services for years, have never been disappointed, and have and will continue to recommend them, even to my personal friends. more
