bad tailoring 3/26/2011

they recently got a tailor.. the tailor doest know how to do a proper hem and if he doesnt know how to do something simple like that you all better believe they cant properly fix a suit. it would be better to steer clear from that sloppy work and inconsistancy. more

Good & Bad 3/22/2011

The prices are amazing. The selection is pretty good, but the employees are not helpful or knowledgeable, they're rude, and most of them were standing around talking instead of working. I manage a retail store and if my employees acted in that manner, they'd get the boot. more

Watch your bags at the end! 12/15/2010

The prices are good, but when I went back home I did had a really bad surprise. One shirt I did buy there was missinig. I did went back to the store to complain about that... But finally I get screwed! So if your are buying a lot of things look what they put in your bags at the end! more

Crowded but can be a bargain 11/12/2010

Big and touristy. You have to do some digging, but there are some bargains to be found if you can get through the crowds and the mess. You'll really feel like a winner if you can find that hidden prize. more

Century 21 has one good thing going for it.....sure the ads are convincing, the stores are huge, the sea of styles is unending, and the crowds maddening. Yet, in the midst of it all is a sales clerk/cashier named Ashely # 67652. Her welcoming smile, helpful attitude and speedy assistance is the store's biggest credit. Thank you Ashley!!! more

Old Clothes Bargains 9/29/2010

This might attract tourists or those who don't care to wear old clothes from 3 o 4 years back, just piled up with 1000 cameras over you. I advise you to be careful in what you purchase, many of their apparels are damaged and at times also worn, just re-ticketed and sold back to the innocent customer. Blah! more

Great deals if you're a size 6 and under 8/3/2010

I have found that the Century 21 in Manhattan to be pretty bad for ladies clothing unless you're very small and have a lot of time to search. I was very lucky though last week to find a very nice large selection of evening dresses in my size. For those of us who live outside the city, the Century 21 in Rego Park is MUCH better organized and has a larger dressing room. Yes, you do get treated like a criminal on the way in AND out because they apparently have a huge shoplifting problem at all of their locations. But, this is a discount store and you have to be prepared for inconveniences. All in all I say you can always find SOMETHING at any of the Century 21 stores, but this one is particularly tedious due to the very large crowds. Pros: Best for menswear, ladies undies and accessories Cons: Clothes are a bit manhandled, not a lot of sizes over 10 more
