Unintentionally, I was able to purchased this Classic Chair and Ottoman from Blueprint Furniture. I went there with my friend. She's looking for a wall decor and other accessories...

Blueprint has a nice selection of furniture at cheap prices. Most pieces are veneer on particle board, but look nice. However, their customer service is terrible. I was there w...

Go here to be ignored 4/23/2012

Wow....Talk about lazy and rude service. They don't say hello, they don't say good bye, they don't say thank you, and if you dare ask them a question, be prepared to feel you are imposing on their time. I was the ONLY customer in the store, and no one seemed interested in helping me find the 5-6 tables that I needed to buy. more

Thanks! 3/24/2011

I just have to thank this business for getting me out of a big issue at my office. These folks are the best! And they have a good sense of humor ;) more

Blueprint 4/28/2010

The store is crowded with furniture and things, with tiny bits of walking room. My shins were black and blue by the time I got outta there! not really. but almost! I spotted a sofa I had to get. I was looking for just this sofa, suriuosly. .. But, my wallet was not. Still, I will be back as I got a mat there and it's not that expensive. more

Woo! Thank YOU! 4/12/2010

Blueprint is makes going into the city worth the trip. Furniture stores, by large, in the valley, are simply too mainstream to offer so much in just one showroom, and no one will cut you deals in these big boxes like eq3, ikea, etc. I found many chairs, upstairs in blueprint, towards the front of the store, for sale as-is at low prices (under 100/chair, even one priced at 49... c'mon) and these had nothing wrong with them that I could see. The salesperson said some things are discontinued, so they end up selling the floor models sometimes for really cheap. AND the fact that they have an annual (?) sale where tons of things gets discounted. They asked for my email and I said sign me up! and walked away yesterday with a couple chairs.. be back to hunt for more. I really love a store that provides good furniture to more people. I felt I could browse around forever, and not be snooted out like in some other design places. Thanks for not being class concious, but still with it Blueprint! Pros: Prices, Diversity, Big Showroom Cons: Absolutely None. more

blueprint 4/2/2010

i am surprised - and very impressed by these guys in west hollywood area. blueprint seems to cut every price i've seen- for the furniture they sell. i'm surprised by the fact that i got both my items for about a grand.. delivery was a little steep (i'm ""far"" they said - as if glendale/atwater like in another country to you guys?). in any case, this sofa is com-for-ta-ble!!. and my lamp is bright and awesome. couldn't be happier! thanks Pros: cost, choices, satisfaction more

Best Furniture, Best Prices in West Hollywood 3/18/2010

I love this store. If a contemporary style is your thing, then Blueprint is the store for you. They have fantastic prices for good quality furniture. My entire office is decorated in Blueprint pieces--desk, chairs, chest, full length mirrors, prints, everything. Why? Because I could decorate stylishly and modern for a reasonable price--absolutely invaluable for a business in a tough economy. Go ahead, try and find better furniture at a better price--can't be done, I tried. I liked it so much I also purchased several pieces for my home. The staff is always helpful, particularly with design advice. They don't push their opinions, but if you ask, they've always been happy to help. Further--parking galore. I'm telling you, it's pretty hard to beat. Check it out in West Hollywood. Pros: Beautiful pieces at a great price more

modern goods - local, affordable 3/17/2010

I came in need of a new sofa. One of the people there were quick to help me, when I asked, and pointed me to some locally-made sofas, and I fell in love. This plushy sofa I am now thoroughly enjoying was happily made here in this city, and I appreciate that. The kicker? HALF of what I expected to pay for such a thing. Anyway, I experienced only a friendly, businesslike atmosphere you'd encounter at any shop like this. I didn't get aI will go back sometime, definitely. Can't beat the prices here, if you're looking for modern goods. I feel it is deserving of a better review than it has here, from my one most excellent trip there. Pros: quality, price Cons: nothing more

They've got it right 3/5/2010

Blueprint Furniture was worth the drive from Santa Monica to Los Angeles. Their furniture is modern and priced very good. I shopped all over and just couldn't find what I wanted. The sales staff was really sharp, a few of them chimed in to help us, and we ended up getting just about everything that we needed- just missing the kids' rooms. I'll definitely go back when we're ready for wall art, they do a really nice job there too. Pros: Sales people who listen Cons: No kid's furniture more

Lots and lots to look at; great $$ 2/16/2010

OMG the prices! I went to this store because of the No Tax presidents day sale - and I am soooo happy!! They let me order three new red shiny barstools without paying tax on them either! Not expected.. Friendly guy in the store helped me out with a catalog, and did not treat me badly like I sort-of expected after these reviews (which is why I am then writing this one). but anyway, Yay! more

Finally, no more furniture shopping 2/6/2010

Blueprint Furniture was my last stop in my hunt for new living room funriture. Thankfully, after hitting all of the usual LA furniture stores (and some unusual ones too) I had been around enough that when I saw the quality price combos here I knew I was in the right place. Pros: Good service, nice designs more

Grown-up furniture... finally. 1/30/2010

I was happy to find Blueprint Furniture. I was reluctant to head into LA from Burbank, but it became clear that we would need a step-up from Ikea and EQ3, my boys are pretty hard on our furniture, which is why I was shopping again after only having done it a couple of years ago. My hunt took me all over town and I landed on a nice deep comfy sectional at Blueprint. It has the modern style and clean lines that I wanted, but also met with the approval of my clan. It came today, and I couldn't be happier. Worth the drive for sure. Pros: Lots of choices if you want modern furniture more

Reasonable Modern 1/29/2010

My first intentional trip over to this strip of beverly yielded some nice finds, in particular this store. I feel the need to post that I am the new owner of one killer sofa and lamp, this huge lamp which was a 'floor sample' marked down to 60 bucks. The sofa is made here in LA supposedly, and I got it customized in length/color/feel. I have to say my sales guy was actually very helpful, but I did have to seek them out. I kind of liked that better - got the chance to look around on my own without pressure. I hate pressure. more

I got the most for my money 1/6/2010

I didn't have a lot to spend, which was really clear after hitting the new Room & Board. I fell in love with the clean lines, but I couldn't afford the sofa I wanted. After hunting around, a set decorator friend gave me a few suggestions and Blueprint was one of them. It's not a fancy place, but I did find a cool, comfy sofa that I could afford. Picked my own fabric & it still came in about 3 weeks. I like that it's made here too. If you know what you want, you gotta at least check them out. Pros: good style, great value Cons: jam packed store, watch your shins... more

worst service ever. 11/2/2009

I only shopped here once and will never shop here again. The only reason I went to this store was to get seating for my living room fast. I would have just ordered on-line (somewhere else) if I was going to wait a couple months for my chairs. The sales person told me that the chairs are in stock so I scheduled to get it delivered by the weekend. Two days later, someone from the factory calls me to let me know that the chairs I ordered are not in stock and I will have to wait 2 months to get it delivered. I called the store to cancel my purchase but somehow they can't find my order with my name and phone number. (I didn't have the order number at that time.) I didn't want to get into a fight so I just decided to wait. After 2 months, I called them to get my furniture. (they never called me. I had to call them,) It turns out that I owe them 10 dollars. I didn't even bother to figure out what it is for so I just gave them a check. Now I'm just happy that i got my chairs and i don't have to deal with them anymore. Pros: ok price Cons: customer service is horrible more

Blueprint Furniture makes me Red with anger 10/25/2009

Over the years, I have shopped at Blueprint by default. I like contemporary decor and there has been a shrinking market in LA until recently. And since online furniture shopping is hardly easy, I stop at Blueprint. They carry all the obvious middle to upper strata of furniture lines and accessories; at least I think they do. Not once in all the years that I have shopped at Blueprint, alone or with friends, has one of their service people had the interest to offer help or answer a question, if asked. They are all clustered at the one service desk seemingly preoccupied with whatever orders were deemed acceptable by them to process. I have rarely seen a store who's sales policy runs from bored to rude to just condescending. Their air of smug superiority permeates the showroom so asking them any information re: prices, fabrics, construction is ridiculous. Without kidding, even asking them about a restroom is discouraged as if they simply never have the need to ever use a bathroom themselves. Bottom line: if one leaves less satisfied than when enters, what?s the point? Their prices are as high as their noses. And since there are no bargains, no help and all attitude, I?d rather return to online or one of the many new stores that dot the same neighborhood. Those new contemporary stores need to pay their rent and are eager to make your experience a good one. As for Blueprint, shop there only if you really love to be made a fool and put down at the same time. In that case, Blueprint would be happy to take your money as they show you the door on the way out. Pros: Good Location; decent parking Cons: They make 'customer service' to be an oxymoron. more

blueprint sux !!!!! the worst store in the world !!! 7/29/2009

bad customer service, never pay attention to the customer, i wont spend even a penny at this store, they are just totally Rip off !!!!! more

Beautiful showroom 4/2/2009

I went to Blueprint's new showroom and was impressed. It's very pretty and easier to shop than the other place as it's much lighter and brighter and better laid out. What I like about Blueprint is they always have the best new stuff at good prices. I shop around a lot and i think you'll find the best overall collection here at this price range in town. I like the store and i always get good service. Check it out Pros: fresh design, price, quality Cons: parking, crowded display in some areas more

BLUEPRINT is a total disappointment 5/6/2008

We have purchased more than a few items from this store and over the last year their prices have increased and their is no customer service to be found ! they are so happy for you to spend your money and have you wait for your furniture for a really, really long time. they said 2 weeks.....HA! Its been 3 months. It would be worth it if the money I gave them was growing interest while I wait. They don't call you either to tell you the delay, you must call them to find out when its arriving and then you are lucky if you get a straight answer. Good store gone BAD....seriously sad. I recommend that you don't waste your time. more

cheap furniture that is difficult to assemble; HORRIBLE customer service 4/14/2008

BEWARE!!!!!! We purchased our sofa from blueprint and was told it would take 3 months to arrive - it took 4 months to arrive. We decided to pick up the couch ourselves. the only assembly was to attach the legs. What should have taken an hour, took 3 hours due to the crumby workmanship. The sinkers where the screws should be screwed into were covered with fabric, and when trying to screw in the screws fabric would become caught and prevent the screw from fully being screwed in. In some cases there were staples inside the sinkers preventing the screw from going in properly. Eventually one screw got so caught that when we removed it, the entire sinker came out from the plywood. So I called the customer service, Bill. No customer service skills, would be better suited as a tow truck driver or parking enforcer. He said that if we had the sofa delivered that they would cover the fix, but since we took it home ourselves it would cost $85 for someone to come out and fix it. This policy was not stated to us when we were asked if we wanted delivery. While Bill claims they back their product, clearly they don't. They don't believe the customer, they are rude and reactionary and won't work with you. It's almost as if they deal with this kind of problem often, hmmmmmm. (please see other blueprint reviews) Pros: pretty furniture Cons: customer service after the sale & workmanship more

Great Priced Modern Furniture 3/30/2008

I love the spiteful comments regarding Blueprint, #1 The furniture is kind of placed where they have room, but they have limited space on Beverly blvd. and I personally would rather have more to choose from then perfect aesthetics. But when it comes down to I did not see Blueprints true colors until 10 days ago I ordered a custom couch from them. They were great through the whole process and the couch was ready in 9 days in custom size and design, which was 5 months sooner than the more expensive BoConcept was. The couch is great and the service is worth returning for, if you can get there attention. Pros: Great Price, Great Design, Great turn around time. Cons: Parking is Terrible more
