I was in the market for a new sofa sectional. After trolling through the many beautiful furniture stores on Beverly, (Diva, Armani, Poliform, etc..) I found myself in as state of depression from sticker shock. I am not of the select few who can afford $15000 (kid you not!) on a single sofa from one of the stores mentioned. So my friend who is a set decorator (professional shopper) recommended Blueprint. She's been using them for years for her set rentals. Pros: PRICES! Great selection! No pressure sale staff. Pieces actually in stock. Cons: Some what victims of their popularity. The place was slammed on saturday. more

Yes, the store has great knockoffs of Italian furniture that I otherwise couldn't afford. But you're getting what you pay for. My couch was scratched and off center and they've tried replacing it four times now but it still hasn't worked out! they also are very unhelpful in the store. I later heard about H.D. Buttercup, which is 1000 times better. Had I know about Buttercup before I would never have visited blueprint, and I suggest you don't either. Pros: Cheap Cons: Poor quality, bad service more

I've purchased several pieces at Blueprint, including Lem Piston stools at a great price (much lower than Design Within Reach). Yes, there are many bad knock-offs in the store, particularly in the Barcelona/Pavilion chairs, but I wouldn't buy a Barcelona chair at Blueprint. So all of you who are whining (in the other posted reviews) should get educated. I've found the service just fine for my taste as well. I don't want anyone following me around the store. Just go to the desk and ask for assistance when you need it. more

Everything you will read before this and probably after is true! They promise you everything for the sale and only deliver attitude. Here's the topper - I bought 2 barcelona chairs that were promised before Christmas. Not only did I not get them on time, but they gave me a cheaper version of the chair I purchased. Unfortunately they all look the same but the ones I ordered were stainless steel frames, aniline leather, etc. Instead I got aluminum tubing and cheap leather. I only realized it after I party I threw when the next day both chairs were 3 inches lower and bent on one side! Their response - honest mistake, no apology no refund nothing. Blueprint has a nice selection of furniture at cheap prices. Most pieces are veneer on particle board, but look nice. However, their customer service is terrible. I was there with about six other couples in the store. There were four salespeople just sitting behind their front counter not helping anyone. I had to go and ask them for help. Three of the four salespeople avoided eye contact, while one was actually forced to work. The salesperson who ""helped"" me was very indifferent and acted as though I was a bother to him. Yes, they may be knock-offs....but I bought a couch there 3 years ago and I love it. It is well made and looks just as good today as it did the day I bought it. I picked up the couch, and it was ready when they promised. The sales staff wasn't pushy and they answered all of my questions. highly recommended. more

Blueprint is a trendy place with big crowds on weekends and during sales. The prices are cheap, but you get what you pay for - the furniture is mainly knockoffs from China. The service staff is friendly, if you can get their attention. Unfortunately, the service after sales is pretty miserable: slow delivery, bad follow-up, etc. You're better off paying more at DWR and getting the real thing instead of a cheap throw-away that won't be around in 3 years. As a set decorator and residential designer in Los Angeles I have used Blueprint for many years and would (and have) reccomended them to many.Good prices, good design, and I like the people working there- casual ,yet they know there business. There are many other stores I frequent in LA as well but Blueprint has it's own style and they have gotten me through more deadlines than I can mention. What I don't understand are people who post viscious comments like the one I just read. Walking around with a chip on your shoulder that size is scary- that's not about any store or restaurant- it sounds like a cry for help! Good grief. Pros: style, price, inventory Cons: parking more

Blueprint customer service is abhorrent. They will say or do anything to make the initial sale but will ignore, lie and disregard your needs post-sale. They completely overstate the amount of time it will take to deliver your furniture with reckless disregard for the truth about what is in stock or how long you will be backordered. It's bad enough to have your chain pulled but they add insult to injury by being ridiculously condescending even to the most weathered of LA consumers. A friend sent me to Blueprint's showroom as I recently relocated from NY. Of all the modern showrooms in LA I shopped they had the best selection at the best prices. The store display seems in a bit of disarray but there are amazing deals to be found even if you trip over them to find them. What's cool is they stocked everything I bought and I'm set. They have a casual , fast paced envoirment but my salesman helped me put it together. Definitley check it out. more

need i explain? they carry cheap knockoffs of designer furniture, and act like they're doing you a favor with the prices they have. obviously people like the low quality/low prices combo, because with their customer service, i'm surprised they're still in business. cross your fingers and hope they don't get your order wrong, because it will turn out to be YOUR fault that they did and then you'll get ATTITUDE instead of APOLOGIES!!! just do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY! Blueprint carries knock-offs of more expensive modern furniture. They have a decent selection of beds, sofas and tables. I bought an l-shaped glass desk here for under $200 and was very happy with it. They also have smaller items such as lamps and accessories. They have a ""parking lot"" sale a couple of times a year too. more
