Review content:
I am a 55 year old woman and a real person who has been a client for only a few months. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, arthritis in my hand and degenerative disc disease quite a few years ago. Because of this, I was put on quite a few pain medications. I have been constipated for around 2 years because of medicine. Before going to Intestinal Fitness, I had not had a bowel movement for at least 4 months and felt like my gut was going to bust by the time I called them. I knew that this was very toxic to my system and it was beginning to be a problem to my skin (extreme itching) and my hair was beginning to be very dry and fall out (in clumps). I was very gassy and waking up at night burping, my stomach felt distended all the time and I just felt so uncomfortable. I was trying anything I thought could help, prescription medicines (movantix, lizziness, lactulose), over the counter medicines (such as Miralax, Exlax, stool softeners, prune juice) NOTHING WAS WORKING! I began to search “Colonic Therapy” and Intestinal Fitness came up, The office is in North Raleigh which is close to where I work.As soon as I called Intestinal Fitness, the phone was answered by a live person who asked me some questions and I was able to make an appointment right away. I did not have to bring any paperwork with me (medical records, etc.), just to show up. The building is very easy to find and I was happy that they had Saturday hours because I work all week. They are directly across the street from Winston's Grille so it is very easy to find. I always have a place to park, and I never have to wait for my appointment, I am taking right in as soon as I show up. They are never "running behind." The staff is always nice and I am always taught lots of good information about gut health. If anyone ever asks me about colonic therapy, I would not hestiate to tell them to give themselves a gift and get your gut healthy. You would not believe how much better you feel on the inside which shows the world that you do feel good.
