Our retired greyhound used to see a vet here and the vet was fine. However, we also used to board our beloved dog there while out of town. The first few times went smoothly, but then one time he came out of the kennels, tail wagging, jumping everywhere like he does, and was leaving a bloody trail behind him that NONE of the techs noticed, or else cared not to point out. They had no definite answer for what had happened to him and just assumed he had sliced his pad on the lip of the kennel. They bandaged it for him once i started to make a fuss and all was ok. I did not want to go back, however my DH gave them the benefit of the doubt. The very next time he stayed there it coincided with a surgery ... apparently he slipped off the surgery table and ended up with a gash in his thigh that required stitches and antibiotics. Needless to say, we will not let our dog within 10 feet of that place any more and i just thought people should be aware of our experience. Pros: The staff were nice, but apparently not well trained. Cons: My dog was injured twice here - enough said.
