Nice, clean office and friendly staff...until it comes to billing. They refuse to do services covered by insurance, instead ""upselling"" to unnecessary (and EXPENSIVE) additions that supposedly were not covered. Even routine cleanings had surprise fees that should not have been charged. We are happy to pay whatever co-payment is due, and actually wanted some of the ""upsell"" services. But the staff repeatedly lied about what was covered, adding fees for services we never requested, and calling them ""co-payments,"" even on services that were 100% covered. The last straw was when my husband was sitting in the chair, ready for a root canal which should have cost $310 as a co-payment. They mentioned that he would need to pay an ADDITIONAL $350, because the gums needed to be cut during the procedure. They said this before looking into his mouth, and admitted they had know this all along, but had no explanation why they did not disclose it up front. The insurance company said they could not imagine a root canal situation that would incur an addtional fee for cutting the gums, but of course could not know for sure without reviewing the X-rays and chart. We requested that, but the dentist then refused to treat our family, saying it was ""too difficult"" to communicate with us, and that we did not understand dental procedures.\r \r We understand basic dental procedures, and are able to comprehend new information specific to our situation. We also understand ""upselling"" and ""lying."" We will sometimes choose the ""upsell,"" because we want the extra services, even if they are not covered. But the lying is inexcusable. \r \r AVOID! (Unless you have money to burn...) Pros: Clean & pleasant office Cons: RIPOFF! Added extra fees, dishonest
