Businiess name:  Watch Hospital

Review content:
The Watch Hospital has the dubious distinction of providing me with the worst consumer experience ever. They nearly destroyed my very nice automatic Longines Swiss watch. I took it in for a clean and service, which automatic watches need periodically. When I got it back, there was more dirt inside than before I took it in, the faceplate was bent, the date changed at 10:30 rather than 12:00, and the time keeping was terrible. After 2 more attempts, they managed to fix these problems, but the watchmaker had put so many scratches on the back from having to take it off so many times, the watch looked just awful. So after visit number 4, he managed to polish them off, and I thought everything was finally OK. But it wasn't - the date wheel got stuck betwen 6 and 7. During all this time the lady behind the counter was rude and condescending - she even had the cheek to suggest that I had too much time on my hands to look closely at my watch and spot their defective workmanship! They stopped taking my calls and ignored my letters. So I did what I should have done in the beginning and sent the watch back to Longines. They said that the watch hadn't even been cleaned and the date wheel was broken. They ended up replacing the crystal (again) and the hands and crown, which were all scratched up. They did a beautiful job - the watch is as nice as the day I bought it - and all for less money. Avoid the Watch Hospital like the plague - they are truly awful."" Cons: awful awful awful
