Review content:
Bread and Company was recommended by a friend. The food is good, but the restaurant was filthy beyond belief when we were there mid-afternoon on June 2. Every table was dirty, the floor was covered in trash and food, the display cases were covered in smears and fingerprints, the door was extremely dirty, the bathroom was not great. This points to an overall lack of attention to cleanliness, which concerns me regarding the kitchen cleanliness. The staff was not friendly and seemed to have an attitude. We had never been to the restaurant and could not understand how to order, and then had to stand around for 20 minutes for the order to be made. Very strange store layout, that does not make any sense at all. It would seem that this restaurant might benefit from studying the layout and ordering procedures of other bread-type stores such as Panera or Atlanta Bread Co.
