After doing extended search and meeting different Martial Arts Instructors in the Los Angeles area, I came across the Jinenkan Martial Arts Dojo. I remember that from the first time that I met Sensei Peter Steeves (Martial Arts Instructor) and Bianca Gentil (Manager) they were amazing. They set up a time for my daughter and I to come in and check out the dojo, from the first day I knew that this is were I wanted to train. I am in the Leadership program here at Jinenkan Martial Arts and it has helped me raise my awareness level, changed me physically and mentally. Sword training is awesome! We have a lot of techniques to learn from but no matter how challenging it is, it's always fun and exciting. My family and I have been training at the Jinenkan Dojo for over 1 year and I have noticed a great deal of change, and this has become one of our family tradition. I am very amazed at the amount of patience that they both have when it comes to training with kids. My 5 year old daughter looks forward to her training everyday and has helped her a lot. I have two other daughters who will be training martial arts as soon as they reach the age to get in. My two year old is part of the Little Ninjas program, and she has fun when we bring her on Saturdays. The prices are just perfect for any budget and the hours are great. I would definately recommend anybody that wants to train martial arts to come here. I guarantee that not only you will gain a lot from the training, but you will also gain a lot of great friendships that will last a life time. Pros: Plenty of parking, good location, lots of friends.
