Ajanata by far has the worst Indian food in bay area. I was very excited to dine here after reading the reviews on this site. I was soooo disappointed. The food was terrible, the place was too crowded. They put way too many tables in a small space. And to top it all, it was expensive. Service was horrible. They made my food too spicy even after I told them to make it milder. When I told the waiter that the food was too spicy, he told me that no it was okay. After I insisted that they give me a milder dish, the waiter took my dish back, watered it down and brought it back out. You can find better food and cheaper in other cities of SF bay area. STAY AWAY from this place.
