Businiess name:  Two Urban Licks

Review content:
My husband and I decided to try this restaurant after some friends told us about it. It was a short drive from home for us. The drive up to Two Urban Licks is interesting to say the least. It's located in a large old warehouse. There are plenty of signs to show you the way to the valet parking which is good. When driving up to the valet parking you drive under an enclosed area to get out. This is where it starts to look like a restaurant is actually inside this huge building. When you walk in there is a decent size indoor patio. It's got huge skylights that I think open up. The hostess stand is up on the right with a floor to ceiling glass wine case on your left. The decor is amazing in this restaurant. One side of the restaurant has candles going all the way to the ceiling. The other way is gray with glass vases. The back wall is all glass with an awesome view of the Atlanta skyline. The seating is very comfortable. The prep kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant. So you can see the chef preparing dishes. The menu changes daily so you never know what to expect. The menu is split into 4 sections: apps, soup/salads, main courses, and dessert. The back of the menu is the wine and drinks. One of the best things about Two Urban Licks is their wine. They size wine is several different sizes. They sell is by the glass, mini-thief, small thief, 1/2 thief, thief. We ordered a 1/2 thief of Pinot Grigio which was about 4 glasses at $24. For apps, I ordered the Salmon chips and my husband got the gumbo. The Salmon Chips come out on a wood plank. I highly recommend these but I will warn they are a little spicy to me. My husband's gumbo came in a cast iron bowl and it was very tasty. I ordered the Red Snapper for dinner. Wonderful cut of fish that was barely seasoned so the true taste of the fish came through. My husband got the brisket. It was smoked for 12 hours that day and was very tender. It had a wonderful smoked favor. Now for the best part: Dessert! They have this great dessert called Cupcakes and Ice Cream. The ice cream that night was homemade Rocky Road. The cupcakes were six mini cupcakes. There were 2 red velvet, 2 chocolate, and 2 amaretto. This just put the icing on the cake for us. We will definitely being enjoying this restaurant again.
