My vacuum cleaner suddenly made a loud snapping and groaning noise and shut down. I thought it might be too far gone to repair, but I figured it would not hurt to bring it in and ask if anything could be done. The repairman working at the store was courteous and quick to help. He expertly grabbed a few tools from behind the desk and proceeded to take apart my vacuum. It only took 20 minutes total to fix it. Apparently the rubber belt had burned up and snapped because of wear and tear. He did a nice and fast job.
