This is one of the last great Italian bakeries. It is located in the heart of Cleveland’s Little Italy right near University Circle.
Presti’s Bakery has many kinds of baked goods including sweet pastries. One block up the street, on Mayfield Road hill, is a kind of “Presti’s annex” where they make delicious donuts late at night.
Walking into the donut shop at 1:00 am and having fresh plain cake donuts right out of the fryer is a treat that you can't find in just any city.
The take out sandwiches are also excellent.
Parking can be a tough act, especially during dinner and lunch hours.
