Sleeping Bear Dunes is a beautiful park. The dunes overlook Lake Michigan. The dune walk to Lake Michigan is very hard and far, but enjoyable too. It’s a unique experience. The park also has a campground with easy access to Lake Michigan’s beach. If camping is not for you, Glen Arbor is nearby and has shops, restaurants, and accommodations. If you decide to visit Sleeping Bear, be sure to take plenty to drink for hiking the trails or climbing the dunes.
