Szechuan Garden is a nice sit-down Chinese restaurant with excellently priced meals. They offer a very wide variety of food, including several spicy dishes, and also give generous portions. All meals include your choice of soup and an egg roll. Szechuan’s food is more authentically Chinese than a lot of places. It is not a buffet and does not offer American foods.

Photos of patrons cover the menu and paraphernalia covers the walls. The menu is nominally Egyptian, but also offers some more American options.

It has a small river, a lighted walking trail, a picnic pavilion, gazebo, and soccer field. There is also a place to park campers. It is next to the Old Mill Restaurant and Old Mill shops.

The park also has a campground with easy access to Lake Michigan’s beach. If camping is not for you, Glen Arbor is nearby and has shops, restaurants, and accommodations. If you decide to visit Sleeping Bear, be sure to take plenty to drink for hiking the trails or climbing the dunes.

The staff of UT Medical Center are very helpful and friendly. It is a very large hospital with several different buildings and wings. It was difficult to find our way, but once we asked for help, we did not have any trouble. They offer a lot of different services. We had to take our baby in for some newborn screenings and it was hard to watch him get poked, but they were very kind and helped keep us both calm.
