My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time this weekend and were immediately won over. As the hubs said, ""I'm usually skeptical of any place that has a menu this large, because it just means they do a lot, but not necessarily any of it well."" Well, Peppermill proved that wrong! To start, their cornbread is delicious and spot-on perfect. We both loved our respective dishes, blackened chicken alfredo and london broil. I can speak for the London Broil: tender, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Serving sizes are generous, which is good if you have a husband with a large appetite or if you like to make your money stretch for more than one meal.
The customer service is worth raving about. Everyone was extremely friendly and obliging. There was a mistake with their printer and our meal ticket didn't print for the cooks. When the hostess and waitress realized the mistake/delay, they were immediately apologetic, brought more bread to hold us over until our entrees came, and then offered us dessert on the house. They know how to treat their customers! And the dessert? AMAZING. We don't normally get desserts when we go out to a restaurant, but when we come back to Peppermill, we will definitely order dessert or get it to-go. Trust me, this is to-die-for chocolate mousse pie.
Peppermill is located in downtown Fuquay on Main Street. They also have a bar which looks like it will be great for bringing some friends for a night out with drinks, pool, and good food!
We will definitely return and definitely recommend it to others.
