My wife had her wedding dress paid for cleaning and preserving early April of 2008. We were charge over $300 for initial fees and deposits. Over one month later after no follow up from Arya Cleaners, we went to the cleaners to retrieve the dress and take it elsewhere. Arya insisted the dress was cleaned and handed us a dress with the same stains, plus a few more, and charged us for additional balances! After arguing with them that the work was not complete, they insisted on having another chance to clean the dress properly. Again, almost 2 months later and no calls from Arya, we visited the shop again and demande to give the dress back so we could have the work done elsewhere. Arya, again isisted that they would work on it imdediatly, and the dress was not available to to give to us there anyway. I insisted that the dress was available for pick up the next day at 1:00 and was very unhappy as my wife was in tears. Upon picking uip the dress the next day, Arya again charged us addiional fees and refused to discount or make amens for the 3 month period of holding my wifes wedding dress with no work done.
