The coffee was not out of the ordinary. If you are going there to study or do work, DO NOT GO AT NIGHT; they practically turn off all the lights and light the place up with candles--I wasn't able to tell if i was putting sweetner or sugar in my coffee, let alone read my book. Good place if you want to just talk, although it is a bit congested and you may be sharing your conversations with strangers; and that in itself ruins the mood that they are trying to set by dimming the lights. I do agree with the ""faux yuppie hangout"" comment, which may explain the dimming of the lights and the wine menu in a coffee shop, but i would still go there if I wanted to just sit down and talk. Better alternatives exist.
